I would like to seek you advise about the adding name in the leasehold housing.

My mum got a house and the name is under her name & my brother name. Now she want to add my name in this house too, but after she get consult from someone, saying the adding name need to go legal firm or house development in government dept to execute it. And future more is the house is under leasehold property, so the procedures will be very complicated and heard that the processing fee will be cost about RM 8K.

I am not sure about this? Can someone provide me some info & assistance on this issue?
