camera problem was the reason to go for RMA. which service center? pacific service center at upper ground floor of low yat.

i'm sorry but i'm a bit knowleadgeable on gadgets and electronic stuffs and so i can clearly confirm that it's not a simple brightness setting. i can only speculate that either the backlighting is fixed improperly or that the LCD of the phone itself is screwed up or broken.

i can't bring to any other service center. this phone is still under warranty and hence i can only bring back to this particular service center to try and fix it. if i send to any other place, my warranty is voided. my problem is that if i bring this phone back to them, i'm afraid that they're going to cannibalise it more and more. i've heard of stories whereby shops will actually take out the good parts of your phone and replace it with lower quality ones. furthermore, they can continue to damage my phone physically and keep claiming that when i send in my phone, it was already that way.

i can raise my voice and kick up a storm but at what cost? the lost of the possibility of my phone being fixed while under warranty?? do you get my situation here?

mind share which SC u went to ? TELxxx or Comxxx ?? i visit to telstra and claim my n82 before.. for the camera problem also.. they solved it within 1 day for me...
i still remember about 11pm.. i leave the phone there.. around 4pm.. they called me and told me the phone was done... i didn't found any scratches caused by them.. or maybe my n82 protected by IS ? haha..

Notice handphone traders in Low Yat are more blood sucking than before especially the one in the corner lot at level 2 with a prominent Nokia logo on their shops.

What on earth they are selling N82 battery original for RM238. Their battery is made with gold? I also asked myself did I look like Saudi tourist?

Only no brain buyer is not asking around for price in Low Yat. This trader thought local people are brainless like them to pay any price for their goods.

Yeah when I slide it, it's supposed to launch the 5MP camera right?
If it's not working, the camera application will only launch the front camera, not the 5MP camera.

What is the brand? Any no brand made in China product is low quality and reliability as my hard experience. 

I have just raised order with AceCombat for a Sun Global 1800mAH battery, it's Japan brand according to him.

I do not mean shutter is speed shutter.

We are talking to a same subject, that is lens cover switch. My Samsung camera's lens cover is auto open and close.

yEAH!!  i did it i have garmin and saved rm30.. ahahah.. but sadly my n82 firmware is v31.0.016 i cant hack it and always i tried install application it keep says cert error and all.. sighh.. =/ even i wan get my cert also hard.. the web is not laoding.. =/

You can get a nice sound from this device. The trick is you have to fiddle through the custom equalizer by adjusting the frequency bars back-to-back. Took me hours to get the right sound. Compared with my previous phones and mp3 players, this phone's equalizer is the hardest one to fiddle with. Different ear/head phones requires different equalizer settings. Don't expect the RM10 one to suit your hearing though..

Currently I use SE's in-ear headphones as well and I can get a good sound.

i used nokia 6233 before, it is also a nice phone indeed

originally i want to buy a digital camera, but then it is well beyond my reach 

i searched for cheaper alternatives, then i stumbled upon the n82,

googled for the reviews and the majority of them praises the phone's camera performance,

then i made up my mind to get one..
also, i was poisoned by the other features as well ( wifi, gps, etc)
