And I forgot to mention they waited for me and closed shop at 7:45pm (I was the last customer). Usually they'll close around 6:30pm.

the shop will pay for any repairs after the official manufacturer's warranty, but make sure your SEC membership card is renewed every year

to display perfect 720p, you would need 1280x720, 1024x768 is XGA PC resolution, it can still display 720p but with non square pixels slightly distorted screen. But I have seen 42x10 demo in the eletrical shop, pretty impressive panel with very bright and sharp screen.

50x10 has 1366x768 WXGA screen resolution, it also displays non square pixels if using panel's full resolution.

both panels can still accept full HD 1080p video signal

comparing these 2 resolutions, obviously they do not match in full screen display

using my elementally math, 1280x720 deduce to 16:9 aspect ratio
1024x768 = 4:3 aspect ratio, evidently something need to be done to fit 16:9 picture into 4:3 screen

1366×768=683:384, almost 16:9

anfieldude is more expert than me on these HDTV things icon_question.gif , if my reasoning doesn't make sense, just ignore me sweat.gif

one hammer is enough, no need to quote the big hammer again icon_rolleyes.gif

200 hours break-in is recommended by expert, so that phosphor inside plasma 's tiny bulb can age evenly. Do your calibration after break-in, otherwise display properties will drift.
break-in settings can refer to avsforum discussion

sounded like its calibration is way off

for best performance, plasmas really need to break-in to stabilise its phosphor aging rate and then calibrate
