I went to Jintex this afternoon also. But I didn't take the TH-P42G10K since I won't be using it till end of the year. And I have been told the the price will be lower by then. Did some surveys on Fridge,Washer, etc for my new house. Friendly service. So Kevinc66, you are the one who served me?

Well, you can get the whole package and sell the BD60 RM1150 here. And still can enjoy RM3249 on the TV alone

Last night went to USJ Taipan SenQ, they put 42" X and S side by side and demo from the same source. To my surprise, The X has much better PQ compare to S. The X color is more vivid, contrast is ok, image is sharp, black is black. But the S color looks dull, image looks blur, black becomes gray. All setting are default. You know what they do? I think they are desparated to push X , maybe more commission? People don't know much about specs, might fall for their trick.

Confirm are from the same sources, coz I played around the player. There is one simply trick to make this happen. Wanna guess?

QUOTE(in_george @ Aug 26 2009, 01:25 PM) X was connected using HDMI and S was connected using Composite or S-Video? Oh, never thought of this. I didn't check the cables. This might be one of the reason. Another thing is they purposely cover the S model with 1 layer of protector film. Why I said purposely? Because I look around all the LCDs and Plasmas in that Store, none of them are covered except this one.

all TVs have build-in scaler to scale the source to native resolution of that panel. If you feed 480p, 720p, 1080i to 1080p panel, it calls upscaling lo.

QUOTE(low98944 @ Aug 29 2009, 09:16 PM) Added on August 29, 2009, 9:18 pmS10K their mentioned it is 1080P and G10K their mentioned 1080 x 1920... What is the different... Keng wo, got 1080 x 1920 some more, the TV will look like arcade screen liao. 1080P means 1920 x 1080. So 1080 x 1920 that the saleman mentions must be 1920P lo. The saleman must be a expert.
