hehehe.... tested with transformers.... was too overpowering & loud so I had to turn down the volume on sub to 50% (was 100%)

still i don't think my plaster ceiling adapts well to it.. haha.. sound was ok.. i feel like it can go much more if the room permits. There were scenes where the explosions scared me & i feel a little deaf afterwards.

Definitely has room for improvement....

Then i put in my David Foster BD and this is where the submersive shines.. I just love it's musicality tight, responsive, effortless bass... my my ... wonder how much I can improve it via calibration

Bad news is, there's a slight hum when everything's on but quiet... can't hear it from sitting position but noticable when u go near the submersive hope this can be fixed.... bro anfieldude .. where r u?

Got a noob question to ask.

I got the Paradigm 10' subwoofer. It power is set to Auto, meaning that it will turn on when got signal and turn off when there is none.

The issue is, sometimes while watching movies in the slow part the subwoofer will turn off by itself. The thing is it gives a 'pop' sound when it turns off. Is that normal? of should I leave the power at always on...?

all subs r good in their own way la.... every sub has their strength & weakness... it really depends on the individual I guess. Most important is to pair the right sub with the right individual

Paradigm doesn't move models in and out of its Reference Signature lineup very often, and the SUB 25 was introduced less than a year ago. Progress never stops, though, and the SUB 25 has been displaced as top dog by the SUB 2 and its "little" brother SUB 1. These new designs feature six drivers (10-inches in the SUB 2, 8-inches for the SUB 1) arranged in three radially symmetric stacked pairs -- the end result being a lot of effective radiating area with in-cabinet forces that balance each other out. In the real world, that means more boom and less buzz, especially with the kilowatt range Class D amps Paradigm includes in these subs. Yeah, we want one too, but even with just six drivers this isn't going to come cheap. The $3,500 price tag on the SUB 1 is comparable to the outgoing SUB 25, but the SUB 2 will sink your wallet to a $7,500 crush depth. Tested "Incredible Hulk" last night on the field fight scene....

Vol at -16, sub level at 10 o'clock at -6.5db at AVR, running on 16Hz mode on the SVS PC12+

I am trying to avoid the metal shield waving by the Hulk
and the pressure generate by the sound wave from the 2 army truck....I can feel the pressure....and can feel every steps of the Hulk...earth shaking type....

previously can only hear the stomping foot sound, but I can feel now....
