This is my analysis of why Compugates' price is so low. To understand this, we must try to think like the operator. The main objective of the operator is to make money. How that is done is to lure the public in to buy at the higher price. Before he can push up the price, there has got to be a period of accumulation. In general an operator cannot manipulate the counter on his own. He must have the support of the owner. This I am certain we all know.

Throughout the history of Compugates the lowest price ever was 10 sen. This is the support many, including chartists, thought cannot be breached. No one purchased lower than 10 sen prior to May 27. The good news is the operator didn't have shares lower than 10 sen now either. Those he had accumulated earlier had all been sold at handsome profit in the last run up. So to replenish his inventory, he must make those who bought at between 10 sen and 18 sen to sell to him. He had to spiral down the price to create a panic selling.

This is what I conjecture it is done. Let's say the operator somehow collected some shares at between 10.5 - 11.5 sen. He then sell them to his cohorts at 10 sen. His cohorts sell back to him at 9.5 sen. He sells to his cohorts again at 8 sen, etc. In the process, many who bought at the support line might be forced to cut losses. This is where the operator picks up the additional cheap stocks. This will go on until he has accumulated enough stock at the price he wants. Nevertheless, he still has a good chunk of shares that cost between 10.5-11.5 sen.

Once he is done with accumulation, he will ratchet up the price very sharply - so quickly that very few will be able to buy at the early surge. After that he will sell a little and still push up the price until a great hoard of you get it. Then he will unload at a huge profit.

The key to note here is that the operator is still very much in the game. He is not in 'distribution stage'. His cost is higher than 7.5 sen. The good news is that we can probably hold on to the stock much longer than the operator. To him time is money. He may press down the price a little more say to 5 sen if he is greedy. He certainly does not want to risk selling his higher cost stocks at such low price. So he is as stucked with Compugates shares as we are. There's only one way to get out of this jam and that is to jack up the price and distribute.

So ladies and gentlemen, my analysis tells me that the time for redemption is near. Besides, Compugates is a fundamentally sound company. At this price, the valuation is cheap. If the price gets down to 3 sen, back up your truck.

Nobody can 100% said compugt is bad company and stupid to invest in compugt ..

I have been following the compugt for almost a year and all i can said, this counter is not that bad .. i will see a good expansion from this company ..

There are many more projects that compugates is running local or even in oversea ..

The problem is not that the company is doing bad , but why that MD disposed his share by almost 8% . I got feeling is the MD internal issue , nothiing related to the company .. if something wrong with the company , why he dont disposed all and why other share holders not disposed .. there is a share holder Datuk goh , has accumulate the share to 5.x% already, yesterday he bought up another 10k lots = RM750K .. and if you check on bursa site , that MD also disposed to his son also some.....

So invest on your own risk .. and this is a high risk share so when yuo buy it , dont regret .. it is part of investment ..

And I am sure those who invest in this share , hope it can goreng .... which the perception is wrong ..

I buy it because of lower price and i believe we can high return .. but when a share can give u high return means high risk ..


Even maybank and genting drop to RM3.X last 2 -3 months .. so every share is risky ..

comparing compugt with maybank & genting is not a fair statement.
both of a different class, compugt is popato chip where the later is super bluechip.
buying which one is safer ? see how much maybank & genting today ?
we all know maybank & genting is far more better than compugt, even buying at high also no worry if one hold reasonably long enough.
one should compare compugt with jerasia, ktb, mentiga, mjperak, olympia, pmhldg, shchan & sycal.
they all at the same class, if buying this kind of stocks don't hope for goreng than hope for what ??
why is there a wrong perception ?? or are we hoping compugt to turn bluechip ??
