hi,ive bought a car mount for nokia 5800 from BR*THERS.......fit nicely and cheap, less than rm20. but the problem is i cant put my phone horizontally, the arm not long enough.......when using Garmin XT,i prefer to view it horizontally,16:9,NICE. anybody can suggest where to get this car mount holder locally(if there is any),which i can put 5800 horizontal view? beside pro clip USA or unker google. thanx

go to lowyat itself. Lots of choice all below 20. Not a big fan of brothers. Tend to rip people off for ice products. But for 20 bucks mount guess its ok

Hey,

Just tried out this software called spb tv on our phone. It is quite cool, can watch tv straight on the phone, but the prob is the wifi connection here in malaysia. Streamyx sux so the streaming is not very smooth. But the 1.1 version of the software can downgrade the video quality to make it smoother.

Guys,

Just a reminder don't talk about warez, keygen etc here on the forum. Use the PM system. Might end up getting banned. Just a message from one tubian to another.

No need to install ovi store apps to get those software. Just browse to store.ovi.com via pc browser and send the link to your phone or directly from phone. U need ovi account before can download from ovi though.
*
Bro,

You can do that but it is much slower compared to the ovi store app. Besides the ovi store app itself is a cool app. But the apps that they have in the store... well. we all know.. can scroll the free pages in a minute. Hope they improve the app collection. (specifically free apps)

Hey guys,

Just started using Shazam today smile.gif So much fun. It works so well, even for foreign music, can identify what is playing and then tell you what it is. smile.gif

guy, anyone using in car charger...?.. can give me a suggestion what a price and brand.. im worried.. using incar cap ayam charger.. la..

Bro,

As long as the fit between the phone and charger is tight, (there is a click that you can feel) it is good enough. No point buying an ori Nokia charger cause you can buy many non ori for the price of one ori charger. smile.gif

Think its like 60+ but actually if you really want the ori charger for a cheaper price check garage sales, think you can get it cheaper. Don't know man I just got one from Sunway Pyramid, working fine ever since smile.gif (non ori)

There are two versions of the sports tracker software: the one on the nokia website and the version 2.05 available from other forums. If you are interested in sports, then you can integrate it with the nokia wellness diary and the nokia sports tracker. But you can only use the one from the nokia website. The latest 2.05 version causes the wellness diary to crash.
So to complete the fitness package you can have

1. nokia wellness diary: will track your workouts, sleep, etc (import data from sports tracker and step tracker)
2. nokia sports tracker: uses gps to track your jogs, etc
3. nokia step counter: counts steps that you take

Yes, some of us(including me) changed our LCD module due to that problem.
Never ever had that problem ever since, and it's been a month for me. Just tell the NSS person what the problem is and they'll know what to do.
*
Yes, after I changed my LCD at plaza complex at NCC there no more issues with the screen. Just tell them you have a screen problem. Best is to call and make an appointment. Mine took only 2 hours and no problems since. But call first, sometimes they won't have stock.

Also to one of the posts regarding invisible shield. DO NOT. I bought it for 80 bucks, screwed up the application and then asked for a refund. But the seller said need to buy again. It is useless, the screen becomes hard to navigate, and the edges will collect a lot of dust.

Best combo for the phone is: 1 normal screen protector: skool is fine, but you can get some more expensive ones with anti finger print technology. And next to protect the phone, get a good case: oil finish case: see redscorpions old posts, capdase, see FP for my post on it with video, or you can get good leather cases from capdase via garage sales. If you want to be brave and get the invisible then go for it. But you will regret it unless you are super patient, amazing at arts and crafts or the seller can put it on for you. But still later on it will collect dust all over the tube or in your case your N97.

It is not warez... it is an open source app. So for all of you who can figure out the configuration for malaysia it will be great. We can all save money. The services link is above.

Hey guys,

We all agree that garmin is the best gps cause the maps are released by malfreemaps. Well malfreemaps just started releasing maps for another software called Papago and it is so much cooler than garmin. Here is the link at malfreemaps:

http://www.malfreemaps.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3184

there are screenshots there too

Well the software is available for our phone but of course it it only the trial version and the full version has to be bought. Here is the link for it

http://www.papago.com.tw/symbian/download.htm

If anyone can find out how to get the software..... would be great. I mean get it legally .. hahah smile.gif
