Yes, some of us(including me) changed our LCD module due to that problem.
Never ever had that problem ever since, and it's been a month for me. Just tell the NSS person what the problem is and they'll know what to do.
Yes, after I changed my LCD at plaza complex at NCC there no more issues with the screen. Just tell them you have a screen problem. Best is to call and make an appointment. Mine took only 2 hours and no problems since. But call first, sometimes they won't have stock.
Also to one of the posts regarding invisible shield. DO NOT. I bought it for 80 bucks, screwed up the application and then asked for a refund. But the seller said need to buy again. It is useless, the screen becomes hard to navigate, and the edges will collect a lot of dust.
Best combo for the phone is: 1 normal screen protector: skool is fine, but you can get some more expensive ones with anti finger print technology. And next to protect the phone, get a good case: oil finish case: see redscorpions old posts, capdase, see FP for my post on it with video, or you can get good leather cases from capdase via garage sales. If you want to be brave and get the invisible then go for it. But you will regret it unless you are super patient, amazing at arts and crafts or the seller can put it on for you. But still later on it will collect dust all over the tube or in your case your N97.
