hi guys!! as of today (technically yesterday nite laa) i am a proud owner of a Blue tube... dang cool man.. love it... finally... a phone that can squeeze some juice into my headphones... nice to be in the club!!

Still waiting for OPDA to sign my cert. Already more than 28hours..T_T

After a day using 5800, i'm quite contented with the battery life and performance. Can last 24hours of heavy usage. Few hours of WiFi and GPRS, couples of calls, hours of music via headphone and speaker, few minutes testing converted videos, installing/config apps, etc. On normal use, i probably will expect 3 days on average

hey guys, just got my 5800. it's a bday present from my dad.. btw, i saw on the 1st page of this thread, the home screen for nokia 5800 can put the 4 contact icons and at the same time have calender stuff.. how come i can't do that.. it's either shortcut, or icons for my home screen. can we add widgets like wat they can do in n97?

u can try "Handy Shell" app..

Thinking to buy a new phone and suddenly one of friend suggesting me a 5800. I think it's a cool phone though I don't have good info on this phone. Maybe our good friends here can help me to give pros' and cons' regarding this phone. How about the current price for AP or ori set? I'm living in Alor Star.

You can try sentosa. That is the place where people from Alor Star usually buy their phone.
But unfortunately, I don't think the shops over there sell original phones. All AP set or recon set only although some shops will try to claim that it's original.
