i bought this phone abt 5 months ledi., avaxx one..the cam take like 10+ pic continuosly start to lag...then hang...then batt very very hot..can help?

do u advise us to clean, reformat after buy?

Seems like everyone using garmin GPS, just to remind your that
deactivate the Assisted-GPS  and Network based in the positioning method.

Always used Integrated GPS only, and it should be enough.(I know it kind of hard to get signal, but be patient, otherwise with the two features on, you gonna get heart attack when the bills come)

yeah.. that is rite.. sometime..have to use.. A-GPS.. ala 10cent... only.. if u can afford to buy..thousand2 phone.price.. charge 10cent.. can't pay ka ...  

how to disable it ? I thought GPS is free but the online features will cost you ?

And each A-GPS lock is good for 3 hours or so. After that if you have to lock on again. But then again, how many trips a day do you use Garmin? lol. In fact you can try, once you got a lock with A-GPS. Exit the software and turn off A-GPS and you will see you still can lock fast.

u can unlock a map when u buy the code coz d map isnt free
if it's free, there wont be a need to unlock it...so no nid unlock code

i tot the leakage means faulty phone..
after throughly check my tube, it is not a leakage.. 

so what i have to do for step 8 in the instruction? i must get the unlock code to use the free map also? so i just skip the step "Copy the SW.UNL file" and straight copy the map can already?

My 3G/Data charges is around 1.2MB where it cost me RM12. Its A-GPS + Integrated GPS still cost so much.
I think when signal low then the A-GPS will try connecting again and again..

I did try on A-GPS + Integrated GPS to get signal then disable the A-GPS, and it works only for Open space,
with less building around you.(All those NKVE, LDP Highway is the best to get signal)

i cannot use it and it tell me to open bluetooth and detect for external GPS device...how to use the internal one?

Actually, the 1.2MB used by App update. You all may check it and see. it happen to me since march. but it doesn't matter to me coz i subscribe the Extra Byte package.

It does scan around once a month, use up to 1.x MB but below 1.5MB for nothing..... maybe i miss out the "updated" thing.
Besure go Menu>Apps>App. Update>Options>Settings, Auto-Check for updates, select OFF

About the AGPS, i think it has around 30min memory for the satellite position. mean that if u use Garmin XT, then will update once by AGPS, after 30min, if still cant fixed, then will use AGPS again. once the satellite had fixed, AGPS will not use again. AGPS is used to find the satellite position over internet to reduce the fixing time.

But if u use Nokia maps, and later garmin, then it will use AGPS twice. once for every application, (the Nokia maps + Nokia's GPS is link as one), it will will use AGPS once for every application

1.2MB = 1200KB (make it as 1000KB = 1MB), use once successful AGPS fix  = 5KB total, unsuccessful fix = 0KB

How many time u need to use the AGPS to achieve 1.2MB? think about it. (Answer = 240 times)
Will you use AGPS 8 times daily and continue for 1 month?

but i have to sit near window to get the signal.
fyi i only use internal gps.
