That's what we call it. It's only a tiny bit of extension inside the cover. See that notch near the end of the stylus, just under the grey tip? A bit of plastic is supposed to fit right in there. Due to repeatedly pulling the stylus in and out, tht bit broke.

If Nokia decides to do another marketing gimmick and offer other colours that we can change to.....heck I'm in.
Looking at how the front screen is attached, I don't trust 3rd party installers, unless they look somewhat profesional and will make up for mistakes.
Imagine, a white 5800. Asrul, yours reminds me of the N82 somehow.

5530's Homescreen is pretty, and a lot more versatile.
I hope in the next fW update, the 5800 will follow suit.

OIC. Thinking of trying it out.

It doens't lag until to the point of useless. In fact, with the right settings, it hardly lags at all for medium-load applications.
For that price, we should be grateful.

It's a software feature. It should be implemented in everything scrolling, web browsing, music search, contacts browsing. I wonder if it falls under "Theme effects"? Coz I have it off to minimize lag. Would be good if it is a separate feature altogether.

Another option is to make a playlist of the music in that folder.
You can do it in your PC, it's much easier. Then just import that playlist file(eg. .m3u) along with all the music into your phone.

Added on June 18, 2009, 9:40 amI tried a class 2 2GB memory card from an N82 once. Although it was not even halfway full, my 5800 was really slow at loading the contents.
SO really, class 4 is perfect. I doubt the 5800 have enough power to go higher.

I think I'll wait for CLass 6 16GB to somehow drop to 120 or something.

By the time that card drops, I'll already have a phone with that much capacity, onboard, or even more!

I've "cleansed" my phone and memory card and now it is only occupying 5 GB. Thatnks to my reconsideration about the bitrate of most of my MP3s. Before I encoded my flacs to 320, now only 256kbps. I figured, WTH, it'll make very little difference, and it saves a bit of battery life as well.

I thought about high bitrate AAC but then mp3 is so much easier to share.

Happened to a borther of a friend of mine who got this phone as well. He(my friend) asked me to help.
Coincidentally, he was also using maxis.
Do the settings again using that welcome wizard?
Or if that fails, do a hard reset.

Well, he'll probably use the internet a lot without WiFi and he'll do video calls and such.

My friend made me pay RM150 for that one month when he browsed through a whole episode of Naruto comic book over the internet with my phone through GPRS.

Then again, not all of the RM150 goes towards the phone, it is also used for the actual phone usage.

So RM150 with a phone plan over a year although adds up to RM1800 cannot buy a RM1800 phone, that'll make the phone practically free.
