There is warranty period by the developer. There is no perfect thing in this world. As long as it can be rectified, than is ok right ? Same thing if you buy a car, there is now 5 years warranty.
Also, not all units are the same, some may have more defects and some may have less defects. No matter how, with this price and size for nowadays and freehold and location, it is some how difficult to get already. Imaging now new development selling more than 400K or 500K with less than 1k sqft and some more need to wait 3 years. Maintenance fee also not cheap for new development.

If you interested, there is a unit 1455sf swimming pool, 530K (364psf) with 2 car parks, long bath, full water heaters. Now mostly all new developments are more than 400psf.
