I think for now, you can only look for AA, I have done some research last month, Singapore stop recruiting Malaysian and MAS stopped their recruitment for cadet pilot too, while AA is still VERY active....

About 6k when you just joined.

Then it increases very fast to hit more than 10k. A pilot's wages is something Air Asia would not save on I think.

And promotion is faster than MAS.

i came up to this thread as my lil bro also would like to become one of the MAS Pilot. He just graduated with Aircraft Maintenance ...so waiting for the job now as one of the MAS crew..

on a side question, my friends and i are taking alevels currently and suddenly feels like devoted to flying.
if we apply for flying school does that boosts advantage or anything? As i know all flying school accepts lepasan spm.

No intake from MAS as of now. They frozed the cadet pilot and direct intake for pilots since they have a lot of pilots graduated from flying academy still not online yet. Furthermore, there's also a lot still in flying academies.
