QUOTE(kysham @ May 25 2009, 01:04 PM) Sony A500 & A550 rumours are heating up! I think these models will be ones that the A200/300/350 users should be looking at for a body upgrade to the next level! link: http://www.dyxum.com/dforum/a500-a550_topic47003.html p/s: no photos in the link. just a mention of Sony Canada's website that had leaked out the model name A500 & A550 in their camera models drop down menu. (ops....) tq for the link kysham bro. /me still reading the topic |

QUOTE(albnok @ May 26 2009, 02:18 AM) vandechrome, beautiful portrait! I like the many tones, the richness in the skintones etc. ieR, having seen both what an 18-250mm and a 75-300mm can do, I remember the 18-250mm being sharper. My travel kit is an ultra-wide (architecture), bright standard prime (street) and a telephoto (anything else) that is not too heavy. I went to Penang with just this: Sigma 17-35mm F2.8-4 EX Minolta 50mm F1.4 Minolta 70-210mm F4 beercan Note that these are on full-frame so a APS-C set would be: Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC Sigma 30mm F1.4 EX DC Sigma 50-150mm F2.8 EX DC II HSM I brought a flash in my clothes bag but if I was using a camera with pop-up I would not bring a flash. Unless there were wireless-flash enthusiasts with me. Looking at albnok's recommendation on Sigma lenses, I browsed both Tamron and Sigma websites. Sigma has a whole bunch more lenses than Tamron it seems. But reading many posts people mentioning of the sigma's gear stripping... I have always put Sigma lenses at lower priority below Tamron (ie prefer to choose Tamron first. If not available, then only consider Sigma). That was before reading albnok's post above recommending the Sigma. Now I view Sigma slightly different A worthy competitor to Tamron |

I would pick Sinner's photo.
Donno how to comment but I think the storyline is simple & easy to understand. The other although artistically beautiful, but I do not understand the message/storyline... So my vote goes to Sinner Added on May 27, 2009, 12:30 amhehe... self appointed unqualified non sifu "judge"... hehe. Boleh vote kan? public vote... macam undian SMS. Judges (ie sifus) verdict is final... but I can vote for my winner... hehe This post has been edited by Banzai_san: May 27 2009, 12:30 AM |
