QUOTE(riziger @ May 28 2009, 09:16 PM) Hey anyone here got tickets for the Singapore game? Or any idea on how to get them? MyRAWK got tickets for SG, but you'll have to confirm and pay for them by today. Email to myrawk@gmail.com for more details. We can not guarantee you any tickets after today as we have a dateline to meet with our contact in Singapore for the tickets.Desperately want to get tickets but seems not available online? |

"On the 24th anniversary of the Heysel Stadium tragedy, Liverpool Football Club remembers the 39 football supporters who went to watch a European Cup final and sadly never returned.
On 29 May, 1985, the deaths of 32 Italians, four Belgians, two Frenchmen and one man from Northern Ireland totally overshadowed our European Cup final defeat to Juventus. What should have been a joyous occasion turned into a nightmare. No one will ever forget the horror that unfolded before our eyes that night and, 24 years on, let's all pause for a moment to pay our respects to those unfortunate victims... In Memoria e Amicizia, in Memory and Friendship: Rocco Acerra Bruno Balli Alfons Bos Giancarlo Bruschera Andrea Casula Giovanni Casula Nino Cerullo Willy Chielens Giuseppina Conti Dirk Daenecky Dionisio Fabbro Jacques François Eugenio Gagliano Francesco Galli Giancarlo Gonnelli Alberto Guarini Giovacchino Landini Roberto Lorentini Barbara Lusci Franco Martelli Loris Messore Gianni Mastrolaco Sergio Bastino Mazzino Luciano Rocco Papaluca Luigi Pidone Bento Pistolato Patrick Radcliffe Domenico Ragazzi Antonio Ragnanese Claude Robert Mario Ronchi Domenico Russo Tarcisio Salvi Gianfranco Sarto Giuseppe Spalaore Mario Spanu Tarcisio Venturin Jean Michel Walla Claudio Zavaroni RIP - You'll Never Walk Alone." No thanks, he can stay in Newcastle to help the Geordies gain promotion if he wants to maintain any credibility with the fans. I for one am not looking forward to him coming back even if it's "free". He blew us over twice.
Well, unfortunately either he got bad advisors or he screwed himself right up his own arse when he left us. We don't need no has been, and i suspect he might even unsettle the balance of the changing room, the local boy clique or so to speak. |

QUOTE(melt @ Jun 1 2009, 11:45 AM) I dont think he was given a choice during his transfer from RM as we were not willing to pay for the transfer fee that RM wanted from us. Mate, imagine having to pay double what we sold him for to RM to bring him back. That's stupidity of the highest order had we fell for it. Owen is definitely a great player if he is fit but too bad his prime time is over and I dont see his style suite us at all atm. Rafa wanted him to stay put, so we can have an upper hand in the negotiations, BUT as vreis said earlier he jump at the opportunity to join Newcastle instead to "regain" a place in the national team for 2006 world cup - where he ultimately screwed up his knee. |

QUOTE(RedSiglap56 @ Jun 2 2009, 01:31 PM) I probably missed the exchanges regarding the Singapore vs Liverpool game on 26 July. So, are many forumers here going? I understand that the cheapest tickets are S$88 (RM215!!!) and that they have been selling pretty fast in Singapore! MyRAWK managed to secure +/- 70 tickets but unfortunately the dateline to confirm has passed, and the additional 10+ tickets from our allocation has been returned to our contact in SG. |

If Alonso goes, the blame is on Rafa for screwing up his head when he tried to sell him last year. If he goes, we will have to wait for another settled midfield line-up to replace the one as solid as we had this season.

Barry's transfer won't be popular with the Villa fans...... instead of transferring to a club playing in Europe next season (like he wanted too), he is lured by the $$$$ of MC.

Agger is not leaving lah Maddie, he has said the final agreed contract to be sign after the coming Danish friendly. BTW, apparently Kaka is set to leave San Siro for RM in £65m deal, so the Alonso deal can still be just smoke up someone's arse if RM is also set to sign that diving..... ahem "hero." Now, it does make me wonder where the heck is that dude, Perez getting his $$$ money from, especially with the current crazy economic conditions.

That "money bag" Barry tried to pacify the Villa fans with a personal letter.

QUOTE(popsoul @ Jun 5 2009, 09:29 AM) Chelsea reported loss of 60M++ something iirc but still they are buying players. Mate, they are wholly owned by that Russian dude, their loans are non-interest loans from him, not the banks. So, chances of them going into administration is next to nothing. Exactly like what maddie said.Figure doesn't really help much. Maddie, from an auditor's p.o.v, are the alarm bells ringing in the background a major concern? Imagine paying £36.5mil for interest that's contributing to the total debt of £42.6m . Geeeez! |

Apparently lost making or not, Rafa will not have a reduce transfer budget of........ tada - 20 million quid which means we better be prepared to loose out on major signings unless we clear our house BADLY.
I'm resigned to us loosing out on Silva. |
