got it thanks! another newbie question.. i went out of the maxis store thinking that the BIS service is already active and just waiting for the push email activation so I just tested the phone in terms of "EDGE browsing speed". speed is acceptable but the prob is that I was not informed that my unlimited 6-months BIS account is not yet activated thus me losing around some money that I topped up in an instant.
question is, will I get a call from them re: activation? I tried calling their customer service but I can't connect and I can't understand because it is in BM. also *100# is in BM and I'm a not a local. any help info will greatly be appreciated. :-) |

did you try calling 123? if you call, it will broadcast about IPO message then you press 2 to speak to a customer care officer

If you are using the Blackberry 8520 Internet browser, in options, browser configuration and general properties, set browser: Hotspot Browser
If you are using Opera mini, in settings, network: tick Wi Fi (scroll down to the bottom). I am using the Celcom Xpax Rm 1.00 per day and browsing using wi fi at home and work. No charge if you set these settings. Opera 4.2 is superfast and worth downloading. Hope this helps. roksta |

duxz, i believe once ur BIS is activated ur MMS is configured automatically.
BTW, PM me ur PIN Added on November 13, 2009, 10:46 amone more thing just ensure that you are 3G sign or EDGE (CAPITAL LETTER) sign is up then only ur mms able to send out. if the EDGE is in small letter then mms is not possible This post has been edited by ariftesl: Nov 13 2009, 10:46 AM |
