brothers... seriously, don't even bother with brothers.

my bro went there with budget to get new amp. asked for jvc (cos within budget), the sales guy suckered him into buying brothers' amp - why, because cheaper and got more channels and more watts.

1 week later, bro was driving and boom! (or booms as miss riss low would say), saw a flash of light from under the passenger seat where the amp was installed, next thing, whole cabin full of smoke.

thank god, still under warranty, they replaced it with the jvc he wanted in the first place.

based on my experience, if u must buy from brothers, don't buy the brothers' products, buy the good stuff!

is there any reasonable & honest ICE shop around Cheras / Kuchai Lama?

If you can find CV at Kuchai, they have been around for awhile and have happy customers. That same row has another 2 installers. Dunno anything about the middle 1, but the one furthest from CV, the boss seems like a nice guy. Suggest you go survey the 3 places 1st. Compare prices then see how.

Google map should able to answer your questions. Regardless of reputable or not, the most 2 important things a person must know when going to acc shops is Survey and Supervise. If the both of them not done, then 1 may end paying extra for low quality stuffs.

Just went to visit CV yesterday. Met a staff there name Ah Siong.
I told him about my requirement & budget. He seems very helpful & help me to adjust according to my budget.
Most probably will go there to install my speaker & cabling next weekend.
Will update you guys once i'm done.

Anyway here's a little comparison between CV & KK Accessories (KK is located to CV):

Re-wiring for amp, 6X9 speaker & tweeter:

KK charge: RM270 to RM350 (That is the answer they gave me).
CV charge: RM100 !

Why 6X9? The installation price alone may not tell the whole story because extra costs may have been worked into the price of merchandise. You didn't survey the 3rd shop?

just wanna ask someone who's familiar with it, if i have my own set of ICE already and i just need workmanship and installations, will they entertain me and give me reasonable price as well?

Sometime i do understand y those ice shop sell expensive coz the not main importer for those ICE stuff, they maybe reseller so can't earn much profit and sell expensive. Or really want to chop ur head, haha.

Like i said i go to klang valley i brought Alpine 9886 for RM1290 [market rm 999] , Boston Acoustic S60 for RM710 [market rm 650] and many more thing la. Coz i ask the boss why so expensive, he said we not main importer and stock-in in pcs not dozen, can't get good profit T_T

Sometime its worth to calculate the expense to drive here there but i want experienced n expertise and quality. Even if expensive a bit its still value for money.
