Hi TS
Remember sadness is always temporary. There are many effective ways to overcome depression. Fortunately, we can control our thoughts and feelings much more than most people realize.
I was like you previously whereby I had no one to talk and I can't share my depressed mood with anyone but I built up my own strength and open up my mind. The world is enormous. Therefore, learn to relax and pull yourself out from the little box.
I do not know what contributes to your depression, so badly that you need to consult a psychiatrist. There was someone advised me to see a psychiatrist to overcome my depression state, once. I objected the idea coz I believe that it may not be permanent cure. Only you can help yourself. So, be STRONG. Try and remember that trials give you strength and today's sorrow will give you understanding and wisdom. When it is over, you will realized what you feel now is unnecessary.
Perhaps you can try to focus your attention elsewhere. I know it is easier said than done but believe me, it hleps. So, find some new interests or activities. They are very important in mental health, contributing to self-esteem and happiness. They give satisfaction, help make you feel good about yourself, and keep your mind off problems and negative thoughts and emotions.
