Ex-Bach citizen here. Quitted a year ago due to massive server lag + frustration of booming 3x +7 Elite Serpent Rifles. Gave away my elite series and Master level characters. Was stupid to spent so much money on this game, really fed up with the management.

I suggest casual playing, don't spend money unless you really want something from GVC.

yeah, true that, don't spend way too much on this game, really not worth it. it's hard to compete with old-timer, moreover with in-game politricks and stuff.

but, in order for you to join high level/tier or whatever raid it is, spending is a must. and i admit it, it's too expensive and i don't bother doing those raid. still, i have some fun doing small/low level raid with my friends and faction mate.

Well I'm still a newbie but I notice we don't actually play much in this game? All I did was leave my characters there, press Space (to autohit), pick up loot, space, loot and so on.

Also, since a party can be made up of Tanker+Healer+AoE, it is discouraging to party up with other players doesn't it?

I wonder if the gaming style is the same too in higher levels.

well, it is the same when you're high level but things get interesting as you proceed further in game ie raiding,cw,team arena and expert stances ^^ I missed my days I can't play in my uni now T>T

I've been playing this game again for over a year. Have about 6 Masters, a lot of Experts and a few Vets and the rest... level 100. Kinda lost interest in it since I spent too much money on the game. Last December's HCOF promotion really got me hooked on topping up... I think it was 13 top-ups in a month.. After that, I just kept on topping up once a month and for the past 2 months, I haven't topped up anything.

My current ping to the server is 0.5 ~ 0.8 (500ms ~ 800ms)... That's a bit too high... They really shouldn't have moved the servers... Now I have less mood to play this game.

@A-Note: You tried playing on UNMC or the one that can be used from inside the Halls of Residence? Try the latter, for sure you can play. I did and I left my laptop on while I went to class so that the chars can train. Now that it's summer break... erm... I take a break too.

By the way, how did you find out their IP address to ping?

Lol.... Just do a /pingtest ingame and you'll see on the left side what your ping is... 0.1 = 100ms, 0.01 = 10ms and so on.

Well, Ex-Bach user as well..I loved GE to death but quit coz it got too chaotic.

Wasted tons of money and still lost out. Game was becoming too money-based, with only the rich people getting all the powerful stuff and beating the poor ones up. Awesome game wasted.

I hope there's private servers someday soon~
