What arremie said. having your cables terminated makes it easier to plug your cables to the speakers and receivers (assuming they accept such terminals).

Also, the airlocs are best terminated by the shop for best fit - i believe a special clamp is also required. so decide if u want it terminated upfront before you purchase the cable rather than an after thought. that way, it will be shipped to you properly terminated at source.
