As per topic.

Is it illegal to discuss about ways to acquire developer certificate and key file in this forum?

If it is illegal, may i know at which area exactly does it violates nokia/symbian copyright issues?

And may I know why the iphone section clearly has pinned content on jailbreaking? given that apple already clearly deemed it illegal and to support it, jailbreaking even voids the warranty.  Signing an application using developer cert does not void any warranty.

lol..the developer certificate isnt illegal....but the way you get it..its maybe illegal..

as i know all symbian software can be signed using symbiansign at >> https://www.symbiansigned.com/app/page

you knowing where to get it does not mean everyone else does.  just as you not having a particular problem does not mean everyone else should not.  i have seen many posts of ppl who dont know what is signing or stuck with problems when their apps are unsigned.  dont act as though u are blind.

from your arguement, i can see that u are not able to differentiate between signing and hacking.  Pls realize theres a distinction between those 2.

its like you telling me everyone who buys a parang is going to slash someone with it, is it true?  When something has both bad and good uses to it, its not fair to assume people are doing something bad

illegal site? well, fair enough.

i agree with aspire2oo6 in this thing

lol.. relax.. as i know the signing method is use to hack..[HelloOX is unsigned...so need to signed first]
bcoz the way to get the cert is illegal..
there are no such unsigned/cerificate error if the software is legal[shareware]..

if they stuck at signing software.. thats mean they download the software[maybe illegally]

if the software is legal..
the one method to signed the software is at http://www.symbiansigned.com

wink.gif

p/s: symbiansigned wont sign the illegal software..such as HelloOX,and others..

Hi there..My advise to all my fren, please don't buying a certificate from
https://www.symbiansigned.com
I already paid for US$200 (about RM700) to get illegal certificate from this site, but until now,I got nothing. Already contacted them, but waiting...waiting..waiting and waiting...still got no answer. Lastly,I contacted PayPal to open disputed report to get back my money. So, for all LowYat member's,if you really wanna certificate just go to OPDA http://www.opda.net.cn and after 24hours you will get your certificate to sign your favourite software. It's really easy, free and fast. Just ignore symbiansigned...they're s**k..
