Crude oil inventories (weekly change) -4.7 M barrels (previous) -2.1 M barrels (actual)

Highlights
Heavy supply may no longer hold back oil prices which, after deep draws in weekly petroleum inventory data, are firmly consolidating above $60. Crude oil stocks fell 2.1 million barrels in the May 15 week to 368.5 million with gasoline stocks, right on the cusp of the summer driving season, down a very deep 4.3 million barrels. Rising pump prices together with recession are hurting gasoline demand which this report estimates is down 1.2% year-on-year.

Last week's retail sales report showed deep contraction in sales at gasoline stations where weak demand far offset higher prices. Refineries are operating at a very thin 81.8% of capacity, a reflection of the swollen supply in the industry which however may now be on the way down. Consumers, hurt by falling home prices and the worst jobs market in memory, may now get hit by a price run-up at the pump... bloomberg

good news rclxms.gif oil prices should average 55 to 65 kua blush.gif at least some stability

correct me if i'm wrong but the price of oil has only one way to go which is north. the current volatility is due to the economic instability thus fear n uncertainty. once things begin to stabilize we should see some improvement n less drastic share price movements. i may sound optimistic but i'm really cautiously optimistic. plenty of headwinds ahead. compared to other goreng stocks i think knm stands out as a better if not a good bet.

at least even if the share prices come down still can sleep at night. smile.gif

goreng-ed other counters before. cannot sleep. sweat.gif tell myself never touch that counter again
