Wrong marketing at the wrong place. And normal shops that persuade you to buy unmod wiis profit more through piracy rather than the selling of the wii.

Owh, and I'm the man for unmodded wiis. Unmodded wiis are a little expensive due to the suppliers wanting to pay for taxes. Also, some shops sell it expensive to make the modded ones look cheaper and better. Sadly.
