I can say that 30 minutes is enough. Dont worry bout the length of classes. Most important thing is that you had enough practice.

QUOTE(melodiousWinter @ May 15 2009, 02:13 AM) you got pm. QUOTE(melodiousWinter @ May 15 2009, 02:13 AM) for lower grades, it's normally just half n hour.. yup, beginner~grade 3 = half an hour, grade 4~6 45 min, grade 7 and above 1 hour.or maybe 45mins if theory is included.. some private tutors might teach for 1hr but not many.. private tutors will teach 45mins to 1 hour but expect to pay rm80 per lesson for that if the tutor is degree holder, means rm320 per month of 4 weeks. if not degree holder, normally will be same as music center, and fees should be more or less the same. Added on May 15, 2009, 3:23 am QUOTE(xMika @ May 15 2009, 02:44 AM) yup, and on top of that, how much teacher can (and willing to) input, and how much you can receive within 30mins.when i was learning violin, it's all started with 30 mins class per week, until like grade 5+ then i attend double which is 1 hour, and of course i pay extra. it's all much more expensive than music centers as i study in college that time, but my teacher can teach so much and so fast, it's all worth it. you might learn a lot in just 30 mins, and you might not learn anything through out 1 hour lesson. it all depends. Private teacher count by hour. There are Rm60/hr, Rm80/hr, Rm120/hr or even more than that also have.
Practice is the most important thing. |
