well we cant just go banging on tables without first following the rma procedures. We cant just ask to speak to the manger every instance our phone go bad. And We wont know till shit happens. I will give it one more week.
Added on March 6, 2010, 8:09 pmone more thing. If we want to write in a written complain whom can we address to?
Its amazing to me how they can over look this. I asked about how many phones usually on rma. Only 20. I would have thought maybe 2000 broken phones thats why the mess but 20 phones sounds like they are sleeping.
Maxis Centre and Maxis CS claims that it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get the phone repaired/replaced. Reason? they said need to get vendor come and collect, send singapore, bring back, sirim approval, custom, then only can get the phone.
Bullsh*t. First of all, there is no need of sirim approval for an item that has already got approval earlier. and if there are really sending to singapore, how long it takes to go and come back?
the truth is..... the phone does not goes anywhere out of Klang Valley. yes, that is the truth. the centre will do basic troubleshooting, and then send to their distributor, who will do the same thing again.
the phone will be lying in their office for weeks and when they feel like doing it, they will do it. it is just 15 minutes to an hour job to the max for them do the the troubleshoot and if cant be repaired, they give 1 to one exchange.
and if you just sit and wait for them to call you to come and collect your phone, well you can wait for your entire life and they wont call you. make up a story and keep bugging them, and yeah, i got my phone in a week.(with good story and some lubang).
