Everybody is waiting for new car launch, only Perodua has confirmed launching date for its MPV on 20th Nov 09.

1) KIA Forte - No launching date yet.
2) Mazda 3 - No launching date yet.
3) Chervolet Cruze - No launching date yet.

Really tired of waiting.

If car launch in November, buy and car deliver in December 09, drive for a month only and depreciate 1 year (maybe 7% -9% of car value). Is it worth it to buy this year? But for those who in need for a car then can not be avoided.

I heard NAZA has brought in 400 CBU units, so will these 400 units sold out in Nov & Dec???

Is it going to be Forte or Naza Force? Hope Naza will lower the "leaked" price between RM83K-RM75K to a much lower price inorder to capture a bigger car market segment. Don't make the classic mistake where after few months of poor respond and then lower the price with big discount. This is not fair to the first batch buyers. Forte should be the turn around for KIA to recapture car sale in Malaysia.

Forte 2.0 5speed autotranny? - No.. 4 Speed, only US 2.4 liter comes with 5 speed.

launch date 28 oct? -who knows?

2.0 has traction control? - Yes, it is.

2.0 has dual climate control? - Not dual but Full auto climate control

leather all around for 2.0? - Yes. only 2.0

auto sensory wiper for 2.0? - Nope.. but Auto Headlights

any rear aircon vents? - No

For <100K plus a small sacrifice for sporty handling and a whole lot of willingness for brand mindset change, Forte may well my next car year end.

I hope NAZA is not taking their own sweet time to survey the market respond about this car. With forum, blog and reviews, NAZA could make use of these to adjust their pricing. That is why the price is going up from below RM70K to now RM75K.

Be ready that the price may be higher when it is launch.

Bro you mean this? i like the 2 tier cluster.. but still i think i prefer the simpler civic version... haaa... personal choice la.. 

oh.. just to update too.. while in one-shift portal review chose cruze.. but in magazine.. forte wins for its overall performance... will uppost when i got the link...

Just received a call from Mazda saleman confirming Mazda 2 launch date on 24th Dec 09, car deliver in end Jan 10 and will be price below RM85K.

1) Mazda 2 - 24th Dec 09
2) Perodua MPV - 20th Nov 09
3) Kia Forte - mid of Nov 09????
4) Chervolet cruze - ?????

This will be interesting. Hope u guys could also update any coming new car launch date.

Kindly comment/bash my current rationalization to get forte 2.0. - won't bash u for sure.. LOL~ coz i plan to get one too.

1. It‘s TIME for a new car after 7 yrs with vios. - old vios is good car... to be frank.. if u plan to change car again in 3 years time, stick with ur vios.
2. Up SEGMENT from C to B. - jimmy is right, from B - C segment le. something bigger.. consider an upgrade.
3. But must be as FAST as vios, so need higher hp/tourque, hence 2.0 - Forte 1.6 vs Vios 1.5 (124bhp vs 109bhp) or Forte 2.0 (156bhp vs 109bhp)
4. Civic/mazda3 2.0 beyond BUDGET. - True.. my fav. also mazda.. mazda 6 2.5
5. 3 small kids. Need rear SPACE and full SAFETY spec. - big enough to have ur kids play around. haha
6. QUIETENESS and HANDLING may not be as polished, but should be better than old vios. - not so sure.. burgerlim said NVH can be better.. handling yes! 
7. BRAND ...errrr will i regret it? Will i sell it when civic 2011 out? - u will regret.. regardless is civic 2011 or what la bro..
8. DESIGN ., need to be less fashion conscious. Hell, just imagine it‘s my civic from front and lancer from back. P1 may come up with the best design and i may still won‘t buy it. P1 may come up with the new Waja replacement which is current Lancer.. but i won't buy it la even looks good.
9. RESALE. Doesn‘t pertain after 7 yr use.  - this is the part.. if more ppl keen to buy used forte.. price can be better.. but if Naza slash price promotion on forte.. the we are f***ed. however if good sales on forte.. they won't down their margin what.. so the judgment is in buyers hand.
10. No paddle shifters. Just stick SHIFT the 4auto good enough laaa., - no paddle shifter is ok.. but the real cons!! why don't they give 5 speed auto??

Cruze?? for me, forte design is more suitable for younger people @ young-at-heart people. heheheh.. 

I am concern about Forte 2.0 ..... with the announcement of new petrol Mycard program  would it be a disadvantage for 2.0 cars in the long run , is it under luxury or large CC segment where the subsidy is lesser ?

Considering City vs Forte 2.0(if and only if the price is around 90k)
