try google for it. i just read about one problem for 60gb set. it's called YLOD " yellow light of death". try to see if is the same problem. if yes then u lucky. someone managed to repair it by changing the power supply unit. youtube also have video. good luck !!!

Hi all,
Need to ask something. Me just balik from kg. Now when I on my ps3 for about 30 minutes than the fan will go to 'turbo' mode. This never happened before  . I've checked the air that come out from the vent and I confirmed it's cool.How come the fan spin in 'turbo' mode when the temperature not hot?  I tried uncle google for help but I found others condition a bit different than mine as hot air coming out form their ps3. please  p/s : mine is 40GB SG set |
