Your 80GB is 4 USB and PS2 software emu right?

That one not as bad as 60GB and 40GB.

60GB got the GS from the PS2 as well as the EE, so lots of heat.

40GB is something to do with the airflow, so heat get trapped.

2.70 did kill my lens and burn my HDD actually

YLOD survivors usually can last awhile (not like RROD, 1 day can kena again ), but risky.

Some people fix, 1 year also can tahan, but they don't play much

Its all luck la.

Like RROD also. Some 1st gen 360 owners fix once, until now still playing.

In 1 year, you can get your family addicted on PS3.

That way, if YLOD again, they will buy new one
