i'm a beginner. i wanna get an electric guitar.

pls help me find a guitar that is less than 1.5k, with amp and distortion pedal.

It is possible? I mean to get something like that in Kuching?

Less then 1.5k ? I think with that budjet you can get something good already.

Try Fender Squiere Stratocaster + roland microcube if you wan a mid-range guitar that can last you quite long since you just started. Use practice amp 1st.

If you wan something simple, try SX or Stagg guitars, those offered by bro burgercis in GS are pretty cheap. Ibanez is also a good choice. For your amp, that Microcube cost around RM350~400. Guitar around RM 800~1K. The other RM 100+ can buy distortion pedal, but the amp already have built-in distortion effect. Unless you want better distortions quality.

Or you can start it out with guitar packs from

Yamaha @ RM 11xx, includes gig bag, pick, cable, tuner, amp & the guitar.

Ibanez @ RM 8xx, same as above but i dont think this comes with tuner.

Behringer @ RM 5xx, Behringer V-tone <-- this is a low-end guitar for beginner.

yo, around my budget when i bought mine last year...

in kuching i suggest LEPO at hock lee center, top floor, dont buy at wisma saberkas one..

service very good at LEPO, always welcome u, helping u choose, at saberkas, if ur lucky, u kena lyn..hehehe..

bought a ibanez GIO there, i noe, i noe, its not the best in the world..huh, was a noob at dat time..now playing it even less due to work n study..haha

anyways, LEPO a great place!

if KL, hmm, bentley? cuz my cousin works there, haha..

i bought my Starsun acoustic there too. Yeah service quite good, but compared to some other places, their prices are still quite high.

Then which shop to go to? Around KL, near Kepong would be nice.
