Well, the first destination in this Kirim thread is on for today: I'm off to Sydney. Looks like it will be a relatively easy day for me there, since no requests for anything OZ-side.

I have to add this disclaimer for this, in lieu of the current events happening right now:-

I will be with the team piloting the plan on MH090 and MH091 going to, and coming back from New York for this trip. As you all have read in the papers, the flight MH091 which came back from New York has been home-quarantined for a week in regards to the two passengers found carrying the AH1N1 Influenza virus. If such thing occurs to me when I get back on the 3rd of June next month, I may be stopped from any outside contact, placed on house quarantine for a period of 1 week. If this happens and does not suit your preference on retrieving your items (you want your items ASAP, for example), then I cannot help you. If nothing happens and the flight is clean, then it is business as usual, they will most probably give a minimum of 5 days off after such a long trip for crew rest. We can arrange pickups of your items within that period.

i'm cool with the waiting period, not like i'm rush to get hold of the item... more importantly is the savings from buying at GS

PSN cards, I believe can be purchased at Meijer stores, Blockbuster, Rite-Aid, 7-Eleven, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, GameStop, and Target stores across the United States. The PlayStation Network Cards are available in $20, $50 and $100 denominations. Wii Point cards is available at Nintendo's own Nintendo World Store at Rockefeller Center and other participating gaming-related stores like Gamestop and Best Buys.

Yakuza 2 and TWEWY now joins the ranks of the games like ICO, Rez and Xenogears as one of the most sought-after title among gamers here. Therefore, there had been no sightings of TWEWY or Yakuza 2 or ICO (in the case of esca_flo) anywhere here. I've scoured mostly the larger Gamestops between 33rd- 55th St, and they are fresh out of these titles. Gamestop Manhattan Mall at 33rd St have TWEWY, but it is a preowned copy selling for USD17.99. To Kyo and bidfordun, if you still want this, I will continue searching on 30th, at J&R and store at south side of Manhattan. Otherwise, your option of ever securing originals may just be a preowned copy. Or Play-Asia.

On a not-related note , weather is foul in NYC today, micro-drizzles around, keeping things damp. But I dont know if it a spot-a-celeb-day in NYC, because I saw FOUR of them around Manhattan today! Rub shoulder with Julia Roberts as she was crossing the street southward along Fifth Avenue with a shopping bag in hand, "Lt. Ellen Ripley"'s Sigourney Weaver was shopping at Sak's and Co, and of all people, John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston at Apple Store Fifth Avenue! Eyes went bug-eyed from all these sightings, but these folks are cool with the attention, in fact almost taking things cool like normal New Yorkers.

Broadway's closed along 47th St. as chairs are laid for folks to relax around the Flatiron and Times Square area. Radio City Hall near 30 Rock (Rockefeller Plaza) are filled with purple robes graduates from the Hunter College of The City University of New York. Also went to the Nintendo World Store, but after looking at their selection of games, and price, Gamestop is surprisingly cheaper!

As for me, bought these:-

Amazon Kindle 2 with matching leather cover, EA Active Wii, inFamous PS3 with Unchartered 2 demo, Bionic Commando PS3, Patapon 2 and USD's worth of iTunes Gift Card. Pics to come later.

That will happen on the 30th bro. Lazy day shopping. The games selection at Nintendo World Store is slim pickings, and in some cases, USD10 more expensive compared to GS. They have rows of screens demoing Punch-Out, nice.
