I've never been to London. Nor do I have any inclination or interest to go there. No interesting roller coasters.

LOL, it would be almost impossible to arrange a holiday in short notice for me, so if this is a trip between us three, then I need to get the date early.

Nope, nothing on the Tiffen or the Grado sponge pads. This goes to Hanxz too. They have the full compliment of Grados at J&R, but to get pad replacements, have to go Brooklyn.
Was informed that it's official : Third AH1N1 case from the flight in is in the news. SMS from other crew on board. I don't watch local news so that SMS came useful. Still no news or phonecall asking for me to stay indoors, so Im typing this in KLCC. Met Rawn for his stuff from J&R and he's not a single bit fazed. |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 5 2009, 11:11 AM) @tishaban, LOL, she'll kill me if she hears that! The plan is, every year Christmas I'll try and be by her side, so yeah. But if you can arrange a date that ties in before or after my annual trip back States-side, I can surely join! I can't go in June either. With the baby, I don't think I should be travelling as much in the next few months So.. shall we just set a date and make plans and see if stringfellow can come along too? @stringfellow, hMm.... so, do U have to be home-bound too?! Ah well... no calls then just pretend U don't know QUOTE(friends @ Jun 5 2009, 02:50 PM) Oooops sorry bro, just woke up, gonna snap a pic of your card in a little bit. QUOTE(pmsoo @ Jun 5 2009, 03:19 PM) How about Alton Towers or Thorpe Park? I nvr had the chance to go there though, either bad timing or no one wanted to go with me. I heard they are pretty awesome Thorpe Park is pretty decent, they just had Saw:The Ride there, but it looks "too safe" for a ride taking the name of the goriest movie I've known. There's also Collossus and Stealth. But ratio of thrill rides vs total of number of rides is small, so I'll most probably be wandering aimlessly there if I go. Alton Towers has Air, Nemesis and Oblivion, but again, that is it. Too little thrill tides per number of total rides. I thought six flags bankrupt dy? nice to know they are still open Six Flags was once threatened with bankruptcy, until they got injected with some cash infusion recently . And from their reformation efforts , with X2 and Bizarro, it looks like things are going their way. Most of the restructuring goes behind the scene, and mainly due to slack management and cash bleeding off that way (just like how MAS used to be, until we tightened our belts). I mean, how can they close a ride like this:- ![]() |

QUOTE(she57 @ Jun 9 2009, 03:00 PM) I'm afraid I ran out of time, and could not get yours. QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 9 2009, 09:22 PM) @stringfellow, November or December. No specific date. The other half wants her body warmer for her winter cold. When is that annual trip back to the USA? Let's see if it can coincide. I just checked with my office and I have about 25 days of leave to utilise |
