costs me rm150.18, i guess thats fair enough.. the receptionist was helpful n sounded professional.. can converse in good english, which is an important criteria that i look for in anythin 2 do wit customer relations.. took bout lil more than an hr, which i should get free coz of their under one hr policy |

QUOTE(psychict @ Dec 21 2009, 05:15 PM) Their one hour is from the time u signed in... And I think it's the so called Super Service which is few ringgit more than the standard ones... So if ur service is the standard ones... u're not entitled for the 1 hour policy... lol... normal lor.. all this marketing bullshits, its all there 2 make us more confused n 2 make em more profit They love to play with words when they started service on my car, didnt let it out of sight.. wats worst is that when they started work, a young dude thats not wearing any perodua uniform or tshirts attended 2 it, was wearing an IKM uniform.. i was like WTF??!! u guys r letting an IKM intern service my car??!! it turns out that a perodua mechanic does it, n the IKM trainee is juz observing n doin little stuff here n there |

QUOTE(csk3984 @ Dec 22 2009, 10:00 AM) u guys abit lucky aldi, my situation more worst i went to 1 of the services centre PERODUO own it self not DEALER. those ppl scratch my car front bumper. I realize it when i back to home. correct me if im wrong, but doesnt every authorized service dealer will use that black cover thingy when they start work on ur car?? the place i went yesterday was satisfying.. good workmanship, clean work area, comfortable waiting area..I prefer to go to their dealer because they will wrap a plastic in your car sit before they sit inside the car to do some internal check-up. Beside they do wrap your car bonnet with a soft cloth to avoid scratches ur car bonnet. At the same time they do alot of extra services such as clean ur engine external part by wipe it with their cleaning cloth. I not sure either all authorize service dealer are the same or not but at least my home town there is like this i like it. |

QUOTE(psychict @ Dec 22 2009, 10:31 AM) I think what CSR meant was a Perodua Service Centre... yup, ure right psychict, i did it in perodua service center..I went to P2 SC and it was clean and they provide the stuff that u mentioned to avoid any scratching on our cars... I think it all depends on individual service centres~ Added on December 22, 2009, 10:33 am BTW CSR, which SC did u bring to? I did mine in Rasah SC, Seremban rasah sc?? u mean the one in that housing area place?? the place thats used 2 be a lumber factory n then turned into perodua showroom n service center?? hows the service in that place anyway?? im in kuching rite now, i did it in kuching town.. |

QUOTE(psychict @ Dec 22 2009, 11:26 AM) Yes that one, that's the P2 Seremban HQ... So it's Showroom + SC... Service there not bad la, wait area got nasi lemak everymorning and got tea n coffee for customers... yeah.. i used 2 live in that area.. that place used 2 be a lumber factory.. it was abandoned 4 yrs, then perodua bought over that place n turned it into a showroom plus sc.. unfortunately 4 them, after couple of months, the place burned down My claims were made there fairly easily, ie window switch, brake disc warp... I juz told them the problem, they juz check for stock and then tell me after mechanic checked and confirm they'll straightaway change for me... Both claims no hassle at all~ The only down part is... They oly saw my absorber leaking 1month after my warranty... sigh... need 2 fork out to replace them... on my way 2 the service center ystrdy, i had this rather annoying squeaking noise.. after service, the noise is gone.. i didnt report it 2 em.. i guess it was some loose parts, during the service they mustve tighten it.. |

in the myvi, the immobilizer unit is inside the ignition key itself.. meaning when u slot in the key into the key slot, the sensor detects the key, therefore enables the engine 2 be able 2 start..
most aftermarket immobilizer system i come across uses a card, which u have 2 swipe at a certain place in the car b4 u start it.. without doing so, simply cant start the car.. |

feel sorry 4 u dude.. but then next time remember the golden rule, never ever leave anything thats visible from the outside of the car.. even if u take out ur gps, remember 2 remove that suction holder thingy from the window as well.. thieves would assume that u have a gps n store it in the glovebox when u get out of the car if they see the holder thing still there.. i know its troublesome, but thats wat we have 2 do 2 make sure our stuff is safe..
