is it difficult then 2 fit disc brakes 2 the rear tyres of the myvi?

so far so gud wit my new baby.. got mine on thursday last week, n i think im quite satisfied wit it.. took it long distance on fri, n i think its reasonably economical, reasonably enough power, n reasonably comfortable..

wat i like most is the bluetooth system.. easy 2 connect, clear sound, n the person on the other line can hear me ok too.. it even shows the caller id on the radio screen when a call comes in.. ive never use bluetooth systems b4 in a car, but i think the one in the myvi is reasonable gud enough 4 me..

nope.. u have 2 set it.. in default, the caller id function is turned off (thus, only the CALL IN will be displayed when a call's coming in).. u have 2 turn it on.. simple, when the radio is already paired wit ur fon, press n hold the play/pause button (on top of this button theres 'call ID' written on top of it iianm).. then theres some beeps n the display will show call ID on, 2 confirm that the caller ID function is activated..

refer 2 the owner's manual if theres any prob.. i learned the function from there as well

Added on November 30, 2009, 2:11 pmps: in the manual, it did mentioned that this caller id function doesnt work wit some phones.. tested mine n it works ok, hopefully urs is ok too..

not substitution per se, more 2wards car of the same segment.. all r supermini's..

i find it very very useful.. u only set it once, n then everytime u get in the car it automatically connects 2 ur phone.. i dont bring my handsfree wherever i go, so this bluetooth is a good thing 4 me.. furthermore, when i get in the car, i can juz keep the fon in my pocket, the bluetooth connects automatically, call comes in, answer it without having 2 take the fon out of my pocket (unless of coz, if ure making an outgoing call).. btw, i tried it for playing music from my fon, n the sound sucks!!

4 me, the display shows the name of the person calling following wat ive keyed in into the fon's fonbook.. if the person calling is not in my fonbook, then only it shows the number..

yup.. as u'd know the myvi isnt my 1st choice, its not even in my top 5.. but i got a job sumwhere far away from home n decided not 2 take my family's aveo n get my own ride which i can buy wit my own hard earned cash.. after much consideration i opt for a myvi instead of my top 2 choices which is persona n waja cps.. have 2 be more sensible in these hard times n put on the thinking cap..

a month n juz 230km????? wow, thats really low ive got my car 4 less than a week n already its clocked 200++km..

when i was considering which car 2 buy, i decided that i want a car that has abs n airbags.. persona has those too, but 2 get it in that spec i'd have 2 get the hline which costs nearly 60k.. waja cps also has those, but that would cost more than 60k!! wit my current pay, i could afford it, but i juz dont think i wanna spend that much of my monthly salary portion on the car alone.. so the cheapest n most reasonable option would be the myvi then.. besides, waja n persona would cost me more on fuel too.. although the distance between my house n workplace isnt far at all, but still want sumthin economical 4 the weekend outings

waaahhhh.. i didnt expect that so many of u guys r like me, wanted sumthin else, but ended up wit myvi coz being more sensible.. i guess myvi is kinda like the thinkin man's choice.. its not sumthin u buy wit ur heart, its sumthin u buy wit ur head

startin 2 regret a tiny little bit taking the ivory white, coz it looks horrible when dirty

yeah, it is.. i remembered the day i got it, it was freakin hot n sunny that day, n the car was like lookin brilliant!!

actually one of the other reason y i took ivory white was coz it was cheaper by rm500, non metallic

labor charge is free, but u still have 2 pay 4 the other things..

the clock, u can juz refer it on the manual..

others such as lubricants, spark plugs, transmission fluids etc etc.. didnt ur SA explain all this 2 u when u pick ur car up??

really?? i on the other hand thinks that its very economical.. its been more than a week wit a couple of quite long distance travels back n forth, n im still on my 1st tank of fuel.. in fact, i still have half left

got mine thursday 26th, so now more than a week already wit 400++ on the odometer.. weekdays juz the normal back n forth 2 office n back.. but weekends, using the car non stop 4 long journeys.. i didnt calculate properly the exact fuel consumption, but after all that, i still have half tank left..

where is this acoustic insulator anyway?? i wanna see if i have that or not..

me nuttin except for rm50 worth of petrol..
