i tried before when my myvi was new.. 3 months old after 3 service.. 2 AM after work (part time, almost 20 years old XD ) back from Sg. Buloh Tol heading to Bukit Jelutong Tol using NKVE, 13 minutes reach home (not far from the tol, only 1 minute)..

guess how fast? wind down a bit window to breath.. off a/c.. my speed was 170-180km/h during down hill after damansara toll there..

wont above 180km/h because is a safety measurement lor..
is locked in the ECU when u reach 180km/h or speed cut or rev cut..
o/d also max 175km/h above that, engine cut speed..

got money buy nice ecu mod ur myvi la.. then can reach 220km/h lor..

i did 160km/h with my new car >_< totally forgot about the break-in period

Skimmed thro the last few pages of the thread and I saw that ppl are having bad reviews abt the SC in Kota Kemuning. My Myvi's due for service soon, any SCs you guys can reco? Btw, I stay Old Klang Road area... I've spotted a couple of them in Cheras but not sure abt the rest as I'm not KL person. Reco reco?

last night i juz measure my speed 120km/h is at 3k then 130km/h is at 3.5k...
is that normal for 1.3 auto..??

very normal.. 110km/h is 2800rpm, 120km/h is 3100rpm, 130km/h 3400/3500rpm...

hey guys, my myvi's battery is over 2 and a half years and i am sensing it will be dead soon as sometimes it 'coughing' when start up my car but it is not often. only a few times only in a long time. so i think it is time to change my battery?

yea i tink you should wouldnt want your car to have no battery when you need it the most

how much it cost for the battery?

i think i quite long time didnt add water into it but it already been 2 and a half years now. so i think it is time to change or i just wait and let it died? seems kinda risky as i am going to genting this weekend/

What 'other local made'? Proton? No way ler...Proton ride and handling is way superior. I also own a Myvi....Myvi is a reliable car with big space (it's actually more spacious than some bigger cars inside), but not a fun car by any means.

Yeah...it happens once to my Savvy...i did same thing..Shieldtox..it solved the problem...but i suspect still got dead ants inside...sigh...the branches are touching my car too, that's what causes it. There was also a time a dead lizard was caught dead between the door...somehow it got itself there when somebody close the door and ...piak...one lizard pizza....it was in the front passenger door....my friend got down from the car, turn around to close the door and got a shock to see a dead lizard there...haha.

the thing i scare of not changing the battery is that this weekend, i am going to genting, i scare it will die when i overnite there and want to come back tomorrow.

Buy a jumper cable and keep it in your car. In case you need to "pinjam" other car battery to jump start yours.
