hi guys, how much is the original rear wiper cost ? Damn it.... mine got stolen in Pavilion car park last nite 

I really couldn't believe that ppl that go to PAVILION really so damn POOR until need to steal wiper.

Just sent my car for service today. P2 SC was fully booked so I brought the engine oil (semi-syn) from them and went to Eneos for the servicing. It's a little bit cheaper and I'm quite satisfied but compared to P2, P2 SC had better service as they will explain everything to me after service always. Managed to fix my Pivot Raizin also. Quite satisfied with the result. Now my car felt more responsive and smoother to drive (smoother gearchange), no more lag when the fan kick-in  hopefully will help in my fc too.

However, there is one prob that's still bothering. My brake seems to be making squeeking sound almost everytime I brake. Asked the ppl in Eneos to verify then they just skimmed a little bit off. The sound is lesser now but still exist. Don't know what's the source of the problem as I just changed my brake pad 5k km ago. Anyone has any experience on this??

5W-30 is fully synthetic rite and how much they charge you for the servicing package? I was told that fully synthetic can last longer (longer mileage) till your next service rite, so how frequent did you go for your service? Besides that, is it really much better compare to P2 original semi-synthetic oil?

hmm    I think I got mixed-up already coz someone mentioned that he use Motul 5W30 Fully Synthetic in the previous post. Haiz, noobie here... Thanks for your answer anyway. So is it advisable to use fully synthetic oil for myvi coz it's local car only oh? My dad use it on his Honda Accord as far as I know ler so I thought it's usually for higher end cars only. Btw, mind explaining the benefit of fully-synthetic??

usually fully syn used for racing purpose or extreme condition or heavy usage...
but of cos good fully syn can easily cost more then RM200+++
so semi syn should sufficient for normal usage which cost around RM100

my friend's car stranded at Tapah RnR. he tried to jumpstart but when on the lights, car died. he assume it's the alternator problem.

how much is the average cost to replace the battery and the alternator for Myvi? and myvi battery is using what NS? NS70?

14" not stable because of 175 tyres..

15" u can use 185 or 195 tyres. 195 tyres really make a lot of difference..

16 and 17" can use 205 but no power in pick up and FC increase...

My Myvi every 40 km drop 1 bar of fuel.. Quite bad in FC if stuck in jam as RPM meter go to 1.5..

No mod.. When I first got the car, last bar of fuel blinking before 300 km... This is for 100% city drive... I try before, from PJ go to Penang, reach toll, last bar already blinking... So around 300 km...  Now running on 15" rims with 185/55/15 tyres.. Also same FC... Didn't increase, maybe 2% increase

cheeann: Yes, really... Have u tried cornering with stock tyres?? Can feel swaying and bodyroll... Cause the tyre profile is 65, meant for comfort, not for performance..  Those ppl who said stable must either be crazy.. Hehe

Lastly, my car idling increase to 1.5k / rpm whenever I changed to neutral or put parking gear.. The RPM meter will always go up when I just engage at D and brake at traffic lights... Switch on lights also will increase RPM.... Maybe my ECU gila... My Myvi is May 2005 batch..

Other than that, love the car lah... RM 50k, so many things to modify... Pick up good for 1st gear.. Very few problems (disk brakes cause steering to vibrate, fuel smell after fill up full tank, CD player wiring haywire when I switch on headlights, no cabin light when I open drivers door)...

not bumpy then pump less air ...
for example, recommended pressure at 215 .. u put 200 or 195 lo ...
but take note, if pressure too low/below average it will affect ur FC and ur steering stiffness ....

Myvi's rim is 13" right? ... don go for conti or sime tire, u will surely regret .. LOLx

oh.... me pump 29 back and 30 in front on my stock tyre (NCT5) and stock rim. Is that ok?

You can try 30-30, then add and reduce to your liking. No fix psi though... That's what I did last time.
