Brand new or second hand? I don't think there's any brand new D40 body around. Second hand should be about RM 800 +-Photography Nikon D40/D40x/D60/D5000 V5, Best entry level DSLR from Nikon

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Jun 21 2009, 04:57 PM) yups.. to your camera model... u bought new or 2nd? kit set? how much Brand new body only. RM 3120.but still canon 40D looks really tempting with the low price but very high 6.5 fps ..sports/wildlife/outdoors...this will be nice.. Yeap. 40D seriously tempting. And canon lenses significantly cheaper. |

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Jun 22 2009, 02:14 AM) yeah...im torn between these two.. canon 40D is really the choice for outdoor shots/sports etc because of : Go for 40D. You can forget about D90 video recoding. A not so important feature afterall.1. high fps 2. under just over rm3k for kit set 3. tough magnesium body a weather proof suitable for outdoors and sports d90 1. better features and ease of use 2. performance at high ISO 3. much better lcd screen & video recording u got the d90 kit or body only? how much? |

QUOTE(latias93 @ Jun 22 2009, 02:24 PM) LOl guys.. this is weird.. this morning before going to school I saw a security guard who tripped on the road through my window, so I took my cam.. turns out suddenly my camera/lens can snap again in M/A focus mode. It can just go in a moment! Your camera still under warranty? Maybe send it back to Nikon centre for checking. No harm doing so. I suspect this is the lens motor, lens motor got such thing as sekejap OK, sekejap tak OK?! |

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Jun 25 2009, 06:47 AM) just tried a few functions.. love the speed of it for the most part.. D90 can be tuned to ISO 100 too.picture output i would easily say d90 beats 40D at high iso. the good thing about 40D though if im not mistaken is that 40d has a native iso of 100 to 1600 or something..and d90 starts from iso200 sports/wildlife-40D weddings events etc-d90 |

QUOTE(latias93 @ Jun 25 2009, 08:23 PM) Hm, I already have a SB-600 (my dad's actually) but people under my horoscope Scorpio don't like to 'share items' haha.. must have their own. Also, I am still a high school student, an SB-900 would be far out of my budget range.. maybe I'll try a third party one first, then maybe next year or so will get SB-900. Me scorpio too! How I wish my dad likes photography too! Btw, if you have SB 600. Then use it for the time being la. When you have the budget then only upgrade. |

QUOTE(Firdaus92 @ Jun 26 2009, 03:02 PM) Guys, this Sunday, my teacher ask me to take his photo at his wedding. I only have 2 lens as stated in my sig. I think I'm going to borrow my friend's SB600. Could you guys give me some tips about wedding photography? It's my first time! Some may like to shoot with primes. But you only have kit n zoom. In this case I would recommend you to snap with kit lens. There's not many tips except to shoot and keep shooting. Take as many as possible and bring extra batteries as well as memory cards. Perhaps you want to shoot with RAW too! |
