ok.. here is simple explanation..

you will still need a ".torrent" file

but.. you upload that torrent file on the server, than the server will download for you.. and keep the file on the server.. (torrent software are installed ON the SERVER)
you dont have to install anything on your system

what you have to do to get the file?
just login to server using FTP and download file from from the server.. (you can use firefox to do this too.. )

why are we using this?
1. most ISP (internet service provider) will block torrent port.. there for the speed will be around 4-5kb/s so this will take ages for you to complete the download.
2. if FTP, ISP can not block the port if they block, they will get in to a lot of trouble.. there for better they dont
3. if download using FTP, you will get the full speed, because nothing is blocked..
4. now days, since SOPA a lot of file hosting has closed, and a lot of file are also deleted.. so its hard to get the file you need..
5. the server are located in different country, where torrent port are not blocked.. so dont worry anything about that

hope you understand..

so basicly say if i go to www.torentblablabla.com and download say movie A

i download it to the serverthen from the server i download it down to my pc?

if you use torrent before than you might know how to use torrent

oh one more thing i forgot to mention, since its FTP download.. you can pause the download and resume it too.. (one of the best part for me)

http://www.torrentflux-ng.org/ - Torrentflux NG has implemented Magnet Links. new ruTorrent have it too. Please considering installing them.

In the meantime, i am using uTorrent to get the torrent files from the magnet link and reuploading it. Its time consuming and a headache.

As for iptorrent..it works well, but its hard to find files to seed to maintain ratio...

I did test on torrentflux - not working
however on rutorrent - intermittently working - over 10 magnet links , 6 works and 4 not

Server has been inaccessible for over an hour as of 28th of March 2012, 11:38AM.

Edit: Reconnectable at 3pm. I blame TM for the hiccup if no one esle is having this trouble.

what server are you on? mine looking good..

I have check all servers and they are operating fine.
If you have issue with server, sometimes it may related to server, sometimes ISP and sometimes users.
The best thing to do when you have issue is by sending email to safar.ibrahim@gmail.com
Posting it here wont help, you may create missed understand to everyone else.
Now one user say can access, you say cant access, i double check all servers to ensure and they seem loaded fine.
