Earlier today we met up with David and Eric from Cooler Master's gaming division, CM Storm, in Taipei at their headquarters ahead of Computex which begins next week. We got an early look at a whole bunch of products.  From what we saw with our brief meeting with them, it really looks as if CM Storm means serious business when it comes to PC gamers. We were not only given an exclusive and early look at their upcoming Sentinel Advance gaming grade mouse, but also a full range of their gaming surfaces. Note to David - I still want a TweakTown printed gaming mat, please!  Below we go hands-on with this new mouse which should come out later in the year. Keep in mind it is not a finished products and the final shipping version will see several changes and refinements

Computex 09: Feels very comfortable in the hand  In all fairness

we didn't think too highly about the CM Storm Sentinel mouse, as over the years we've seen huge amounts of gaming mice and very few of them actually stack up to be anything out of the ordinary, but we have to admit that we were wrong to judge it ahead of getting some hands on time with it.  The Sentinel has a little bit too much bling for our taste, but it's very comfortable to hold, no matter which way you prefer to hold your mouse when you play games, as it's slim enough around the rear to be held with your thumb and pinkie, yet just the right height and length to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand.  We're not so sure about how often you'll need to use the 5000dpi setting. The demo model was set to 5000dpi and it made Crysis impossible to play, as the least movement of the mouse made the gun sight go all over the screen. However, this is hardly going to be an issue as the supplied software application allows you to set the dpi to suit your gaming style. It also allows you to program the buttons and even save five different profiles.  We also have to say that we really like the new mouse mats that CM Storm will be launching, especially the really large, silky smooth one that a certain German case retailer described to us as being as smooth as "silk stocking on a woman;s leg".

Just to share a work in progress. I try to do some cable management after getting back my gigabyte PSU.

First i try to make the interior black, but i don wanna spray paint it. So i decided to just stick some black "carpet" ( I don know what it is called, it is used to wrap the exterior of speaker box).
I also sleeve the front panel LED n on off switch cables with black tubing.
