im guessing u asked one of the bigger established guitar schools? dont believe all the hype of 1hour per class from all of them especially for beginner's classes.
instead go check up on which has a better teacher etc or even smaller / private ones...got a few here u can ask.

Agree. 45 Minutes is good enough already....... You can usually find them at RM100 per month at most schools.

music master offers basic classes for RM90 a month, beginners for 30 mins (which imo, is very low)

Depends on which Guitar Classes .

What they teach in Music Schools will be different from Private Tuition .

You can customize your music classes in Private Tuition .

Lessons can be around RM 160 - RM 220 per month,
45 mins per lesson, Once a week, 4 Lesson in a Month.

Hi there , the price you said is a standard market price for Music Schools.

Private or Customize Lessons are different.

Ranging from RM 160 - RM 220 per month.

^ Interested to know as well.

I went for a music school sort of thing a few years back. RM 100+ per month. 30 mins each lesson. This is for classical. Acoustic a bit cheaper. But the teacher sucked so watch out for those. Good guitar player doesn't = good teacher.

Hehe, my area isproced at RM75 per month. Basic that is. Quite expensive actually. Because it's only 4 times a month and each time is 45mins only.
