For me my brokerage fee is RM40 or 0.06%, whichever is lower, so the minimum amount I would purchase is RM6700 which will equal to a brokerage amount of RM40.20. If you buy too little you lose out. I made this mistake with my first stock purchase, I bought only 5 lots of BJTOTO at RM4.55. Because I bought so little my break even price is RM4.74.    Don't make the same mistake as me.
