i don't know what's up with maybank with all the introducer thing.

last year i wanted to open a foreign currency account and they told me i need an introducer which other bank doesn't even require one. (i already had one with OCBC and there's no such issue.)

Ended up my dad calling the branch manager and asked if this is the rules set by Bank Negara then she says i don't need an introducer.
