dear sifu's i think i'm the most troublesome one here, i again encounter some problem. here goes:

i shut down my pc. removed my stock hsf to clean it inside out. put back the hsf. then plug back the power. it wouldn't turn on, no hdd spinning, hsf not spinning, psu not spinning. i jump started the psu, it's working fine. i tried my HDD on my brother's computer it's working fine, so where can the problem be?

can it be my mobo? ( there is light on the mobo when i plug in the cables and etc)

or don't tell me it's the processor?

maybe check on whether you have put everything in place, all the hardware slotted in nicely. coz when you take out your hsf, you might have removed other stuff like cables around, and could have forgotten to put them back.

all of the cable are nicely slotted where they are suppose to be, check lots of times already for cables.

dude,
we can only suggest/guess...please don't take our words...please check properly....and if possible, isolate the fault...

what we said here, are just hearsay...and we have not even seen your mobo...we can old give suggestions/our opinions...we can be wrong too... sweat.gif  sweat.gif  blush.gif

a little update then, i unplugged the hdd cable from mobo, jump started the psu, hdd was spinning.
i left the power on. feel a bit of heat at the bottom of some area of the mobo. i check the bottom, couldn't find any crack.
and no problem, i'm here to learn from all the sifu sifu's suggestions and opinions too. smile.gif thumbup.gif

have u tried jump start mobo?
like i said,,naked.
take out mobo from casing..
with psu+proc+ram only.
*
okay naked everything already. had mobo+proc+ram only but couldn't start it also. when i connect the hdd cable to the mobo the hdd can't spin, but if i remove it from the mobo it can spin, so meaning it's faulty mobo? it cant be burned processor right? cuz my temp hardly reaches 50degree celcius even if i oc it to 3.0ghz

finally found out the mother of problem that caused everything, it's the effing power switch, the wire connected to the button is torn, so had to use the reset button to replace the power.
