ok ur RG was a H-S-H configuration.. which means , a 2 humbuckers and a single coil.

a strat is using 3 single coils. (the tele pickups are also single coils.)

U could upgrade your bridge and neck pickups to single coil sized humbuckers. It's shaped like the single coils, but is actually a humbucker.
