let me explain more, in other p2p mmo, u must grind ur ass as hard as possible to earn money, in eve, there is hard way and soft way, u can scam other player and earn billion on money every day, u can moon mining and earn billion , u can exploint the market and earn billion,if u up for grind, u can mining and earn billion every month, u can do mission and earn billion every month, u can pvp and lost billion every month. its a freedom

its up to u, its not for children, not for weak heart gamer, eve is a dark game where every 10 newbie, only 2-3 will survive in the first month, if u hate eve-online, fine, u not belong to eve, go play WoW where u can carebears as much as u want , dont ever touch eve, because its dark and evil

Yep that answer sums it all up....not everyone's game. No comment on the carebear thinggie unless you can juggle a LIFE + family + career + your so call 'brain powa' and whathaveyous. But then again i'm sure theres some 'hardcore' gamers out there who swears its 'do-able'.

I think you are being a little condescending about EVE online.

But, you are right about EVE not being everyones cup of tea. I play EVE only during the weekends and have very limited time. However, its still very fulfilling and you will still retain a sense of advancement. So, the required time sink in EVE actually varies. There are some who put in the same hours as me but haven't paid for their account using cash for the last 2 years.

Of course its not easy at 1st but after a while its do-able. But then, you've already made up your mind

Hehe, i know it's old... it's not as good as 10 years ago but it's still an epic game. No level grinding, good pvp. My 2 acc are still active in oceania server after 7 years... the guild i formed is still the largest guild in australia currently.

I see why it's necessary to get more folks from here into the game, tbh. If they find it, they find it. If they can't afford it, they can't afford it. Simple.
