sorry guys, i didn't read all the pages here as i do not want to read any spoilers as I am watching season 6 now.

I am one of the earliest to watch 24 since it started airing season 1. Back then I uses IRC to download episodes. Haha..talk about ancient p2p. I watched it only a few days after it aired in US and keep chasing it because this is very very good TV series.

I do not like watch dramas as I do not have the time to spend on catching up with dramas. But 24 is exceptional. This is totally awesome series that need a lot of planning, careful directing and editing to pull it off. I have stopped a long time after season 2 and just started to catch back for the past few months.

Totally engrossing series but I find it really surprising that it does not get as good ratings as it deserve in US. It did not even enter top 10 ratings. Even the lousy NCIS (ori) is in top ten. What's wrong with americans? They don't want to watch a movie with intelligent plot? NCIS is not bad but it is just some normal cop+forensic kinda stuffs.

Also the thing I dislike about 24 is that people keep on dying. The only person that doesn't die is Jack Bauer. Everyone else just drop like flies. One or two season, then their character is kill off. Really disheartening when you start to felt for them. For example in season 5......spoiler.....Edgar die.....just like that. What a waste.

had high ratings in the early seasons ,went downhill after season 5 because the plot became monotonous(goes for the bad terrorist guy with either nuke or some biological weapon) and it had a lot of anti semite sentiments.

All the seasons were good except for season 6.
The main reason why 24 was ended was because the production cost was getting too high plus people nowdays prefers faggotry show like Glee.

TBH im not a fan. im not watching it when this show airing. ive watched long after the hype, just at the end of last year/ this year. just completed the 3rd season. lost interest.

As you all know, after 9-11...all kinds of series came out; 'Night Watch', '24', 'Alias' etc.

I did watch '24' though but on and off.

I prefer 'Alias'.
