I have a question about the new mains, is there somewhere I can read about the updates for the new main class? I haven't played for ~2 years I think... latest mount before I stopped was dom taurus.

Oh and new mercs as well. Thinking about getting sheriff, is sheriff still good, or there are new better mercs?

2 years, that's huge amount of ground to cover there, a lot of things updated.
Let's list out some important things:

- IM mercs: sheriff, vampire, tarkan, Jeon Wu Chi (whatever his silly name is, maybe you know that Korean movie as well... exactly that spear dude.)
- new mercs: warlord, valkyrie, pupetter, Roro Kidul, Sorcerers, George Washington, Gigas, upcoming Chinoria class-A bow...
- main specialization: Lv120 allow you to learn 1 merc skill of your class, Lv130/140 talent specialization for main character (1 level gives 1 talent point)
- skill can be learned with atlas ore
- market is now CROSS SERVER
- you can now level pass lv120 without doing upgrade quests, but the quest is required if you want to get the specialization mentioned above
- lv120 upgrade quest nerfed again
- Dragon God gear is now 120 instead of 121. Pegasus gear also reduced from 141 to 140.
- you can now wild cat DG gear into evil, +7 costs 50 atlas ore I think?
- Guild training center changed, now is power-level heaven for low level.
- added Africa region

Sheriff, still good although people claims she's nerfed a little. I still use her nowadays for TBS, although some people moved on to Tarkan (new IM axe class-B merc). Tarkan have self-seth, and stack with oracle seth, and also cannot be freezed (a mob in Africa TBS can do forest prison). But personally still prefer Sheriff since she's range.

Don't know any LYN in there, but there are still SEA / Eastern Asia players all over the place, especially since last year AO Taiwan (think Phillippines too) closed, they come over here on International.
I'm in Mycenae.

I had a 135 old char in Delphi, currently abandoned due to trolls problem Thinking of swap into BattleMage hmm...

Other AO region still going include Japan, Indonesia, Europe, Russia, and of course the main base Korean.

How big is the atlantica now? Kinda hate when people said its easy to level 100 now, i got 100 i think because use 5 BL(not pots) and from 98 to 100 takes like 1 month.....
I know people can do it crazily but with no good amount of money, nothing will be done as money=solver

Craft? My highest craft is armor 48 n yellow. Idk how else people do money.... the tbs kinda hard though.... its majapahit tbs where mobs chase you n in 2 turn you die horribly.

AO had changed a lot for the pass 2 years . Power leveling is possible with revamped Training Center, some crazy event exp, new daily quests, more easy TBS, etc.

Training center, 1 day 1 hour, 3 or 4 times should guaranteed you lv 100. The trick is to party with high level and he do all the works, you just loot, and you may get profit too with high level equipment boxes drop.

Easy lv75/85/95 TBS, you blind fold yourself also can win in less than 5 minutes... (sort of).

Lv100 is a joke in nowadays' standard. Get to at least 120+ and we're talking business.

Things changed. Even if you play very casually like I do nowadays, you'll be 140+ in less than half a year. (anything after 120 starts to get slow). But of course, if you strife for top level, it's very hard to do so, as the level cap will rise a gain in this or next month to 160... I'm certainly not intend to compete to top level, the amount of gold I can earn per week simply not sufficient to support that kind of gearing needs. I keep Pega as my top tier for now.

But still, level so fast for what if your in-game-income simply not enough to keep your well geared? If you're into PvP, sure you can do with +0. But in PvE, we talk about efficiency. The faster you kill, the more exp you can get in shorter time. Less than 20 seconds per battle, is what you really want. Couple with frequent weekend exp boost, you can grind up a lot of exp in short time.

On crafting, don't bother unless you're really 100% into making things. It's NOT a guaranteed way to make money, it's another gambling. Especially with an event last year that f**ked up all the gear prices... phoenix gear 10m, DG gear 20m, crazy cheap... Of course it's stabilize back again now, but it is still very very cheap compared to before. The only reason to keep the gear price as where is it now- the damn atlas. You know, atlas is everything, and everything related to it, and the price keep rising and rising, now is 38m.

staff/ bstaff main and witch will do good in majapahit, the reward pretty nice too

craft? forget about making your won, just grind all the way anything in gc, although i hate grinding crystal

Yea I turned my 135 alt into BStaff few days ago and... OMFGGGGG GG OP electron field (and the books are dirt cheap too).
Currently planning to level more BStaff alts

...

The new Atlantis area (Western Atlantis) also created another powerlevelling opportunity.
Near the outpost there are bunch of mobs called Lupurs (yellow glowing thing).
800k+- exp per merc (50% bonus currently), not super fast but helps

Avoid using the web shortcut. Directly go to AtlanticaRun.exe (the launcher), or Atlantica.exe (the game).
Delete AtlanticaEndingBanner.exe if you want, annoying ads.

Make sure you have this amount off files, recently we got report of a lot of people having problem trying to download it right (empty files)
