anyway, thefts need to break both grille and door/window b4 getting in... any reason u want to fix it at the grille instead?

stil remember when moved into new hse, cannot sleep for few days- worried about house break in.

my 3 cent opinion to minimise the burglary rate

- gated with security guard

- good house alarm system

- attentive and caring neighbours to watch out when u r away -remember this work both ways.

- and if you can, on the ouside of your house , do not renovate as if there's no tomolo. Your house stainless steel everywhere, drain cover also stainless steel ,plus big cars and 7-8 aircons, how not to stand out an deasy target.
neighbours house all standard colour, you go and paint your house striking red/yellow. How men?  Thieves come, so easy to identify. The red one lor.

- and a good dog, not a pariah dog that barks at every moving soul and disturb your neighbour. ( esp the Malay neighbour )

- make sure you remember nearest police tel no. and not 999

and if that fails,  make sure you have at least RM500-1k cash with you always in the house.otherwise the robbers get angry.

staying in a corner hse, still keep my chicken wire fence on my perimeter, at least my neighbours can see whats going on . I know not nice, but security sake ma.

if BPP ppl & BK ppl start arguing abt who is better...wl it give us more knowledge or profit us in anyway?? ...better forget abt this BPP vs BK things,

lets talk abt happening in BPP or BK, eg any bad shops or eateries we need to avoid   or any place we need to be extremely careful ( blind corners, snatch theif favourite spots or MPSJ fav saman area...

who is better who is good...pro n con ? come on....end of the day this kind of comparison will go on n on n on....u have the money u can choose to stay where u want, its very subjective.

My budget is around 1.3m to 1.5m. Preferably new shop and nearby Puteri Mart & upcoming public library. Please share your views.

it's around 7k ( tile floor for the 2/3 ft area, wall, skylight roofing, metal door )
pls make sure ur contractor dig deep enough into the concrete floor for the 2 pillar b4 arranging
bricks for the wall. it was told by another neighbour that his contractor did not keep an eye on
the indon worker so they just dig little bit & build the wall...collapse b4 the concrete dry.

pls note the next hse with the full wall extension...that cost abt 12k++

website i'm not sure, you can get direct from majlis office for those standard format of drawing. To mpsj anything that is change from the original design of the house will need their approval,otherwise be prepare to be "harass" one day. Rather than having loads of problem later might as well just apply n get the permit one shot,since its a one time procedure only.

That wat i said, no need to apply..unless MPSJ is really hard working or ur extension is too much, like the corner lots extension with few more rooms/level etc.

BTW, here is the proposed LRT extension to Puchong, don think it will cross over to BPP.
