Seriously, the TMPIN 1 and 3 gone haywire...where does this TMPIN located, mobo or proc...I got to send either one for replacement or RMA lar like this...

TMPIN 1 is stuck at 45 no matter what and TMPIN 3 has a maximum of only 60...

During my last Priming session I noticed the temps weren't moving even after I stop prime nearly 1 hour and manually touched heatsink both Proc and Northbridge which clearly indicates that if the TMPIN readings were to be true, my finger didn't felt any excessive hear at all...

And during Priming the temps readings on TMPIN 1 and 3 are both non-reflect the temps of the Proc and NB which I also manually touch and feel.... hmm.gif

Another thing when I enable in Bios regarding temp shutdown at 75c....my PC shuts off even when the readings in HWMonitor and Overdrive during priming never showed 75c  doh.gif

sad.gif
*
hehehehe... same my case...
TMPIN0 ---> 44C mobo temp
TMPIN1 ---> 50C proc temp
TMPIN2 ---> 88C ?????????? dunno where it come from... but sometime the number change +-1C... doh.gif

Then my proc fan..
normal - 5200rpm
max - 8888rpm <--- can my fan reach that????? sweat.gif (stock cooler amd x2 7750 be)

sometime 2nd and 3rd fan reading appear... with 0rpm..... blush.gif

Looking something like me?? biggrin.gif

Here are some ideas....

The one I'm eyeing....the airflow direction is perfect...some heatsinks blow above not suitable since the right direction for TA970GX type mobo is blowing towards the mosfets...

u use stock cooler?

if modded one maybe TMPIN1.. smile.gif

State your budget, prefer tower heatsink or what? Size?
*
already stated <RM200
SIZE doesn't matter as it can fill my atx (unless too big)...

im planning to OC but stock HSF too loud and temp also too high during load
I want lowyat user review who use same proc 7750 BE....

Hi..
Im 7750BE user too...
I see from urs spec that u already OC to 3GHz with 1.325V vore...
Is it stable at that voltage??? Did u test with Prime or Orthos?
mine at 3.12GHz with 1.4V core and stable at that voltage... I think quite high but i read
from overclocker forum.. they use 15.5X and HT 205 with 1.5V core and only get 3.17Ghz..

for 3Ghz u dun need to adjust the vCore.
default is enuf edi.
*
suppose like that but its seem my system not stable... set auto voltage also like that..
windows become blue screen.. so i need to increase voltage (and of course temp also increase.. doh.gif )
my target to go at 3.3 ~ 3.4Ghz... i try using 16X but its not stable at 1.4V..

Any recommendation???

i test my rig with 3DMARK Vantage..
my result
GPU = 65XX
CPU = 4770

If that 3.1Ghz result is stable at that vcore...all hats of to u...nice chippie... drool.gif
*
only test 30min with Orthos...
can't wait more than that...

idle : 49~50C
max temp : 55~56C (load)
core temp : 48~50C (load)

if increase voltage (which i did at 1.4V for 3.3GHz), idle temp already 55C, load reach 65~66C and core temp = 55C...
sweat.gif .. afraid burn my IC...

Hello otai2 here...

I have a question which it happen to few hours ago..

I OC my 7750 to 3.1GHZ with vcore = 1.3 and multiplier = 15.5..

i confuse.. which test is better.. shakehead.gif
Prime 95 or Orthos...

oh... i already done both... what make me confuse... mine OC stable in prime95 till 40 min (before i stop it)
but orthos only 20 min (test fail)..

now which one i follow... prime 95 or orthos (using prime 94 as a base).. rclxub.gif

p/s : test playing grid for 2 hours straight... all ok and smooth.. but every event they are 1 lag... just 1 lag every event..
weird... i don't think its cpu/GC/ram issue... Any idea??? icon_question.gif

Humm..Tried occt?

and try run prime95 for atleast 1 hour..
*
i think no problem running prime 95 for hours as i already run around 40 min.. and after that playing grid for 2 hours..
my temp max 55C (during test)

Another question..

Which CPU temperature we use...
CPU core or CPU ???? (Look at pic)

user posted image

... just confuse because some forumer sometime give idle temp below 35C... hmm.gif

According to the AM3 OC guide as posted by a forumer just a moment ago, you should let it run for at least 3 hours because AM3 CPUs will stress the most at around 2 hours.

i tried with x9 and 310htt... cant go any further..the vcore also not so attractive.. nvr tried with x8... pls note that my proc is ancient edi
(not really ancient, but compared to u all here, im too dem ancient that shud be extinct/vanished my yesterday)
*
i dont think its same...
normally cpu temp higher than core temp...
but my problem is which temp we should aware ( < 62C)...

mine currently multiplier at 15.5X and HTT at 200..
I would like to try reducing multiplier and increasing HTT a lot... just want to know anybody do that...

If OC, better increase multiplier or HTT?

haha why nvr buy 7850 ? u buyin the black version ryte.. i wanna know the result from the oc ya bro xD
*
If not mistaken, 7750 and 7850 actually the same proc..
only the core speed at 2.8Gz at stock...
but from what I read, it stuck at 3.2Ghz if OC.. just same with 7750...

I currently running at 3.1GHz (15.5X200)...
But when playing games (GRID and Battlestation Pacific)...
dont feel any difference between stock 7750 speed and OC one...
Only bencmark can see different...

Is that mean, game software currently no need very high speed?? ohmy.gif
