Bro so basically when i click on 'Update' on Itunes, it will basically full format my jailbroken Iphone and run it on Official 3.1.2 lah ?

Yeah bro, i am using a Maxis 3gs 3.0 jailbroken set using maxis sim , the reason why i am acting so 'stupid' right now is cause i dont want to make a mistake , thanks for being patient with me . I did the 3.0 before by running redsnow and it was easy, the thing is right now , i have never used itunes to update so i did not want any complication or incompatibility since i am running on a jailbroken phone off the start

I just did it, its so easy, now just installing cydia. I am one happy camper

It does on 3.1 as well on 3.1.2, I have a maxis 3gs set bro, but update to 3.1.2, why would you want to waste the free update

another quick question, does winterboard and 5 icon dock work?

No idea about logo, do you mean network logo like Maxis, its fine for my 3gs, for tethering, no idea bro, I don't use it at all.

For me its a different story, to use the phone perfectly, the signal is much better then it was on 3.0, but there is one flaw that i am noticing, basically my 3gs drops off until you see the 0 symbol next to maxis. When that happends i would actually look at my settings and 3g is actually on the phone. NOw what i would do is enable 3g back and it does come back, with no problems, but after a while it goes back to just the maxis signal only, thats it. I am in my home town now and this is actually the second day using 3.1.2 jailbreak, so far its pretty awesome, things feel smoother overall, but only this issue. Any suggestions? I am thinking of letting the battery die off completely today and do a full charge to see if it helps, or maybe start off with a hard reset first, but any other suggestions?

Actually before on 3.0, it used to flactuate, but it will automatically be back to 3g if the signal gets better, now i can see the 3g signal is stronger then before, but when it goes of, it will not come back until manually done.

certain stuff might not work because of the new firmware, that's pretty normal, just wait for an update one

So far I dont know, it seems to be better for me, not much better, but better on my I3gs. What do the others say?
