I think I made the right choice of picking Tweetie over Birdfeed for my Twitter account. Very nice geotagging feature, as well as clean interface. Don't now how it is on birdfeed, but definitely a step up compared to Twitterific.

Started a new twitter account. Yes slowpork. Been contemplating on privacy issues as well and all, in the end.......what the heck, why not! Tweet in sig. Promise will try to follow through with this, unlike my attempt at maintaining a diary!

Turn off Notifications, wifi and use low screen brightness, as those are one of the ways to significantly prolong your battery's lifespan. You should also check out iPhone tips and tricks for more methods.

Thanks bro for the advice. I have decrease the brightness till the minimum that I felt decent (ard 70%) and wifi is always switched off, unless I am sure that there's wifi but push notification is not switched off coz I use ping with my gf rather than smsing. Will look into the tips and tricks more bro.

Q: Battery iPhone drain like crazy?
A1: Unusual battery depletion is almost always caused by people choosing to “Restore from backup” instead of “Setup as new iPhone” when iTunes asks you. This isn’t caused by either the jailbreak or the unlock, but it’s a common 3.0 snafu. The fix is to just re-run the official 3.0 restore and choose “Setup as new” this time. Your music and apps and all that will still be synced, but you’ll get rid of any conflicting wifi, bluetooth, or carrier settings.
A2: Disable/off these functions and use it whenever you need.

1) Push Notification
2) Location Services
3) EDGE
4) 3G
5) Wifi
6) Brightness set to half or less and off auto brightness
7) Mail - fetch new data set to off and Push Off
8) Kill all background apps by using Processes via SBSettings for jailbreak iPhones. For non jailbreak iPhones, use 4. Force Quit Program
9) Disable SSH if you install earlier for jailbreak iPhones.

Take note: Charge your iPhone for atleast 4 hrs + (USB cable or 3 pin plug). Then shutdown and boot your iPhone. This will give you longer lasting batt as in the spoiler. Do drain your battery once a month whenever possible.
