In our country yes. Unless stated you are allowed to U-turn, you are therefore prohibited to do so.

i kena this kind of incident once, i made an U turn at the road opposite times square.
as i rmb there was an U turn signage at traffic light last time, so i made tat U turn, then police waited for me in front, stopped me and said cannot U turn. I answered him saying that 'but last time there was a signage there telling can U turn wat'.

and police pointed at the traffic light, 'but now there's no signage saying can U turn amoi, last time is last time, now is now, now 21st century edi...a lot of things changed, last time no hp now got hp, bla bla bla bla bla bla.....'

wth, and i took out RM20 and stopped his bullshit.

You cannot U-turn unless there's a sign that says you're allowed to do so. It's as simple as that.

so next time if can then dont do u turn and turn it like in the fast and furious movie the police sure wont chase u haha

Next time all our female frends ,siblings and relatives must carry a sign 'do not rape" on their body, In case some "noob" misunderstood and "assume" they're rapeable.

I don't know why but I see more no u-turn sign than u-turn sign..

TS broke the traffic laws. Very often see drivers making u-turns illegally (where there is no sign permitting u-turns) with no regard to the inconvenience they are causing others, not to mention being a traffic hazard.

u have to observe la. dun simply u-turn. see if conflict with the otherside of the road/junction.

Dudes....malaysian road law actually states that you can't u-turn unless there is a sign. So the polis has a point there. Next time don't u-turn a road w/o a u-turn sign when there are polis around...they have the right to catch u

p/s: should keep 1 copy of undang undang booklet just incase they accusing you then you can show them the law.

Think about it, if usually you can make a u-turn at any junction, shouldn't there only be no u-turn signs?

it depends , depends on whether police is there onot

want to do U turn, first check the incoming traffic, clear then see no police around, faster do U turn.
